Vanity stuff - artists, modelling team, etc
Fixing stuff - coders.
People working on the vanity stuff can't do the fixing of stuff, that's how it works. xD
Sadly like the previous poster youve missed one major detail...WHO ADDS IT INTO THE GAME?! Seriously the Artist/Model Team do their work but without it being coded into the game by the Dev's(Hell surely the Dev team request this stuff from them as a start) or placed into Content as Rewards etc, whats it doing? Oh yea, Sitting there in the Animators files awaiting to be coded into the game.
Sure there are all the departments, Sounds, Battle, Art, etc etc...but without it being coded or even ASKED for by the Devs I doubt each team goes off their own backs and does what they want and adds it to the game themself, is that really how you (And the other person) think it works?!

add me to that list, this was the one thing I was looking forward to the most.

Actually, I added that summed post with a laugh. You don't need to be so uppity/trolly. I'm aware of the various teams and what goes into all stages and who does what. I do this sort of stuff for a living, thanks.Sadly like the previous poster youve missed one major detail...WHO ADDS IT INTO THE GAME?! And yet I explained why you can't just toss stray coders on your staff at a problem and expect faster results. Its like fixing a car, you can only put so many mechanics under one hood before they get in each other's way. The others you put to work on another car.Sadly like the previous poster youve missed one major detail...WHO ADDS IT INTO THE GAME?! Though the person you're responding too is incorrect. There is very little art involved in a task like this. Outside interface setup the vanity system is a pure coding task. So the coders on the Quality of Life aspects of the game know where to work on next.

Just say NO to vanity slot restrictions:

You are making an assumption that the developers do, but it is highly doubtful that this is the case. The systems to add new gear, vanity items, etc..., would have already been developer by the coders, with, likely, a useful interface for other team members (read: non coders) to make additions and modifications of the database (since this is all it really amounts to, data entry). At no time would a coder need to be involved unless a fix or addition to the game engine is needed to implement the new gear (which is an exception, not the rule).
