Guys relax. SE are doing what they can to sort RMT out. People scream do something now!!! So SE is now doing something. Just because you don't understand fully what is going on shouldn't be a reason to start raving. If they suspended my account for a few days to check logs and caught some RMT and banned them i would be glad. So what if i lose a few days. SE would probably give them me back and if they didn't so what.
I understand though some of you want things done now as long as it doesn't effect you in any way.
Not for nothing, but people who believe that SE would ban paying customers just because they amassed a lot of gil by normal and not shady means deserves to be banned for stupidity. They obviously have logs and they can easily determine what's what. People lie, especially the kind of people who do bannable things.
I'm sure farmbots are very lucrative .. RMT clearly think so, I wonder if others do too.I killed and farmed things for about roughly 3 hours. I made 200k. Without telling you how I made money and giving away my trade secret and If I continued this path, I would be a millionaire in a few days. I would be simply selling items I farmed and putting them on the marketplace. Would this constitute for a ban?
complete bs
not a single person has been banned for the amount of gil they possess
stop spreading rumors, the people in question were banned for botting to harvest or craft
Blaming the victim, eh?
Ask around on your server. Find someone not banned who has 10 million gil or more. You won't, because SE seriously banned everyone with 10 million gil.
Well, it's too soon to tell regardless, one way or another. What can I say? What happened to you sucks and that's a fact. However, it would be best to reserve our judgments until we see the results of this move. It is extreme, mind you. I don't argue that but if it cuts down on the RMT overall and only costs a few people a couple days of their time then it will have been worth it. and if it goes south? Go to town, heads and pikes all around.Secondly, my friend did the same EXACT thing as me. Except he's not banned. Want to know why? Because while I kept saving my 10-15million gil that I made, he blew most of his on getting the two-star gear crafted / HQ'ed. Right now, he's sitting on less than 5 million gil and he is not banned. HE DID have over 10million gil, just like I did. He did participate in the same exact sales I participated in. But he is not suspended and I am.
Yeah I 100% Agree with you. I love this game and I love Square Enix as a whole, I am just ranting and raving because my weekend was ruined. I need to take a chill pill and hope that something good comes out of this >.<Well, it's too soon to tell regardless, one way or another. What can I say? What happened to you sucks and that's a fact. I reported every single Mining teleporter I've seen. Seriously those are gamebreaking. The amount of money I farm is just what I would say is "enough" for repairs. This game really does not "need" money, unless you need purchasing power to craft.
Believe me, I get it. After all the server issues and login issues, it's really salt in the wound when stuff like this happens. I haven't made it super far into the game, only a couple level 30 classes so far, so I can't yet imagine the effort it took you to get your battle classes and crafting classes to the cap. I'm sure there is a great amount of anxiety associated with SE holding on to peoples characters. So, I hope they get you and everybody else looked over and back into the fray ASAP, minus a few parasites.
Just hang in there.![]()
