    Weapon Skills in general (an I know this is a long shot). People complained for Auto attack in V1.0 because there way way too much spamming attack. Now it's the same thing all over again but this time with WS.
    - Please change WS so that it's not being spammed. Auto attack don't even do nearly as much damage so everyone just WS.
    - Either introduce the need to build up TP or implement a longer cool down on Abilities or remove the Global Cool Down altogether.
    Good news! Square Enix is way ahead of you. Sounds like their special project they've been working on is tailored just for you, in fact, it's already been released!





    Sorry, I had to. To provide something actually useful to the discussion; I'm not saying your ideas are particularly bad but they were changed or are different for a reason. Correct me if I'm wrong but traditionally the "offensive" black magic in previous FF games as been limited to ice, fire, and lightning historically, and XI was the exception to this. The AoE toggle from 1.0 was kinda cool, but was clunky and caused a lot of balance issues. All spells had to have poor efficiency to make up for the fact they could become AoE. (See what Scholar did to XI and how it was promptly nerfed into oblivion for being ridiculously overpowered). Also if your friend is only using Blizzard to AoE things hes doing it wrong. Considering hes referring to ants, I imagine hes at Cutter's Cry level and at that point you have access to much more powerful fire based AoE spells that are ranged. Blizzard is for MP regeneration as well as quick getaways (see: the bind effect). It just so happens its a spammable AoE attack but once you get past the 20s and 30s it's damage is hardly good for much past getting easy gold in FATEs.
