    I would like the to see the following.

    THM/BLM - Blackmages have always been able to cast all elemental magics, but for some reason CNJ/WHM which supposed to be primarily a healing class can cast black magic.
    - Please let THM/BLM cast all elemental magics.
    - Make it so Primals can resist/absorb damage for black magic of their element. I.E Garuda absorbs wind damage
    - Make all elemental spells full damage. That Aero and Thunder spells are horrible.
    - Give us the option to cast AoE with any spells like in V1.0 before it was changed.
    - Fix Area of Effect so you cast them on enemies not yourself. Imagine me running in between a bunch of monsters just to cast AoE on myself.
    - Had a friend become frustrated with how the AoE system is done in the game, this is what he told me in chat, I xxx out the name for privacy.

    "[4:38:24 PM] xxx: so now i ran to a bunch of ants
    [4:38:26 PM] xxx: aoe
    [4:38:37 PM] xxx: and every one has a chance to land a hit on me
    [4:38:48 PM] xxx: so yep.....mage job officially over
    [4:39:00 PM] xxx: gonna try rng next"

    Weapon Skills in general (an I know this is a long shot). People complained for Auto attack in V1.0 because there way way too much spamming attack. Now it's the same thing all over again but this time with WS.
    - Please change WS so that it's not being spammed. Auto attack don't even do nearly as much damage so everyone just WS.
    - Either introduce the need to build up TP or implement a longer cool down on Abilities or remove the Global Cool Down altogether.

    Good news! Square Enix is way ahead of you. Sounds like their special project they've been working on is tailored just for you, in fact, it's already been released!





    Sorry, I had to. To provide something actually useful to the discussion; I'm not saying your ideas are particularly bad but they were changed or are different for a reason. Correct me if I'm wrong but traditionally the "offensive" black magic in previous FF games as been limited to ice, fire, and lightning historically, and XI was the exception to this. The AoE toggle from 1.0 was kinda cool, but was clunky and caused a lot of balance issues. All spells had to have poor efficiency to make up for the fact they could become AoE. (See what Scholar did to XI and how it was promptly nerfed into oblivion for being ridiculously overpowered). Also if your friend is only using Blizzard to AoE things hes doing it wrong. Considering hes referring to ants, I imagine hes at Cutter's Cry level and at that point you have access to much more powerful fire based AoE spells that are ranged. Blizzard is for MP regeneration as well as quick getaways (see: the bind effect). It just so happens its a spammable AoE attack but once you get past the 20s and 30s it's damage is hardly good for much past getting easy gold in FATEs.

    In this game Earth, Wind, and Water damage are not black magic but are the elements of nature which is why Conjurer use those schools. They're not going to change the entire lore of the game for people that want things exactly like they were in FFXI or XIV vanilla.

    I'm pretty sure you don't get Firaga at lv 12, also, there are lv 5 Ants that are grouped together. And while Fire, Blizzard and Thunder has been the staple of most FF games in the past, there are cases with specialized magics like Quake making it into the fray which is earth based. Also the fact that magic was highly resisted in V1.0 I'm certain wasn't because of any limitations and is more a design choice based on ones own status (in this case INT) and the relative lv of the monster and it's ability to resist said spell. And I can assure that spell resist is still in this game though not has frequent and annoying as V1.0. The fact that my friend went in the middle of a bunch of monsters to cast Blizzaga was more than a foolish act if I do say so but still doesn't justify why I need to cast black magic on myself to make it AoE. That is utter nonsense. I should be able to target said monster and cast my spells. There should never be a reason to "need" to be in the middle of a set of monsters just to AoE. I use "need" because it's possible someone is farming and want to be the center of attention when their spell hits but that's besides the point.

    - Add a checkbox that turns off a person's own ability to raidmark.
    - Raidwarnings; Allow leaders, maybe everyone, to broadcast something across the center of the screen.

    Macros
    - Add a command to marking macros, "on", that always turns the mark on. In other words, pressing later in the fight doesn't remove it, unless it's pressed on a different target.

    Sounds
    - Sounds play while game is not main focus.
    - Dungeon finder queue has music, unique music, rather than a sound. Or something that even says "A group has been found" or something.

    Here is a good one. And someone said this before so I'm regurgitating it, in the case of RMT, give us the ability to block the entire account linked to a character instead of the character alone. A bit drastic if I do say so myself, but I kind of like that idea. They will not be able to delete the character and make a new one to pester people. They would need an entirely new account. And in the case of non-RMT if you're annoying others in the game and just being a jerk about it, then you deserve to be perma-blocked anyway.

    Teleport notifications need to be made to pop up at the bottom-right, similar to the loot list notification and party invitations, but without a Confirm/Cancel pop-up in the middle of the screen. Unwanted warps left and right! You took no consideration towards gamepad users! Heck, I'd bet even mouse users misclick on rare occasion! And to add to it, I've been in FATE parties where people warp all the time. Having that aggravation pop up in the center of the screen constantly is absolutely infuriating!

    If I want to take a warp, give me a notification regarding it, not a pop-up, and I'll get to it when I'm not busy pressing Confirm on my gamepad with the intention that I'll target something rather than fly halfway across the map or world.

    Haven't seen anyone correct this, but this isn't true. THM/BLM hasn't always been able to cast all those spells. In fact, CNJ at 1.0 launch had all these spells.

    Also, in other FF games BLM only had access to thunder/fire/blizzard, and not the other spells. There are exceptions like XI, bug again. Your facts aren't facts, just thoughts.

    I do agree in the absorb, etc, but that does make it difficult for different jobs and different content, so I disagree. In offline games where you control the whole party it works, but in the MMO it doesn't.
