Lightning FATE Trailer, What Do You Think?

Nice concept, though that trailer is nothing like reality is going to be. Those FATEs will be flooded with 200+ people, flashy graphics and you won't see anything at all.

Unrealted to the thread topic, I suppose, but how do you turn off the flashy graphics? Is that what the whole "character physics" is under graphic settings? Or is it found somewhere else? I've been wondering for awhile now.

It's in the most unintuitive place ever. Character Config > Control Settings > Character > Battle effect settings

No, you can't. Not enough of them, anyway. You can turn them DOWN, but at minimum allowed settings a group of 50+ players will still turn the entire area into a blinding laser-light show. Especially Flaming Arrow and Shadow Flare. Oh GOD how I wish I could turn those off.

I also can't help but think that seeing 12,000 people running around the server dressed as Lightning will kill the novelty in about 3 seconds.
