(people would want to make vids too which included me) Plus it would be a good marketing aid if ppl could make movies while playing ffxiv. PPl love doing machinama and if a game has video making capabilities they really go for those.
Having moddable UI's will most likely not make it to the PS3 (just guessing as i think it'd be tricky and require a lot of SE's resources) and Yoshi's already agreed on having it.

There was also talk of having seperate interface controls for the different platforms (which makes sense), such as dragging/dropping for PC uses, i dont know if this is still being done though.

there already is drag and drop. take the mouse and highlight the different HUD You can set it how you like. And that is what they meant from what I read up on it. You can increase and decrease the hp par, level bar, you can change locations of every widget minus the npc text bar.

Oh um i wasnt very clear sorry, I ment for Actions, Gear, Items etc, You can drag Actions over rather than click spot > scroll to action > click action > click spot etc, it'd be drag to spot > drag to spot> etc. Same with gear and items.

A user without a mouse on PS3 will not be able to use this feature to well unless they do a mouse like the PS3 browser (Which I dont think they would have much interest in doing). a PS3 user will also not have access to the feature you mentioned of moving the UI.

Or keep draging the topic back to that post I made. The error was fixed get over it.
Kilta, you cannot be serious. What are you trying to prove? We posted games that you can record on PS3 and instead of admitting defeat you just continue arguing.

This right here is where most people would stop and say, "You know what, maybe he's right. Maybe I should stop saying things I have no clue about and should stop answering in such ways as, 'well I've never heard of it but cool, glad it exist.'" But no, not you, you had to drag this out to 4 pages of nonsense to prove your point. Which was what exactly? MOVE ON. Refrain to my last post.

This thread is about a feature that should be implemented, please stop making it about you trying to reason to yourself that you're right, somehow... Oh, and by the way, you're the one who's bringing the bashing onto yourself.

oh....... der XD WoW is like that. I hated it. as I was a mouse clicker and tended to accidently drag and drop skills vs using them (not saying it is a bad idea) I get what ya meant. And though i didn't like it that would be cool and I know. I meant that in my post above. UI/hud set up will always be different

@ Xeno I'm not trying to prove anything and can ask yiu the same thing. I didn't start any of this and I stated several times I commited an error and was corrected. I even went and edited the post inquestion. I would move on if people moved on. I only reply back to stick up for myself. I commited an error, it happens get over it, I didn't commit a crime so stop acting like I did. The only arguments going on or have been going on are people fighting with me. I say my opinion (wrong or otherwise) and people dislike it and assume the worst of me. They do not need to humilate me over a mistake.

So really who is in the wrong? A person who makes a mistake? Or the person repeated hounds another over it?

    ran out of room
Since people ounted out my error (though it isn't like I hated the idea anyone, and infact repeatedly said this) It is a good idea. I will also like to state. I've never posted on here to a jerk on purpose, I'm actually a nice friendly person. Just i'm a bit sensitive. I do have a learning disability and do have issues in both grammar and in typing in general. I do try not to soundlike i'm better then anyone, nor do i assume such things. I do not claim to know everything. I've said this meany times. If you misunderstand something i write, or I make an error, poilitly correct it. There is no need to humilate a person over such things. There is no need to act like a jerk to someone over the internet. I got a bad temper due to frustrations when ppl misread what I say, and assume the worst.
I met quit a few of you ingame, and haven't I've been friendly and pleasent? I do lake a few social skills but I try to be nice. Want i ask is to be able to start fresh. I'm not the troll you think I am.

WoW also had the option to lock your bars specifically to prevent that. >_>

I hated doing that because it was a hassle to ock and unlock to add or intentionally move them But like I said just cuz I hated it, don't mean I think it is a bad idea.
