Again wasn't doing anything you claim I was doing. You fault you missunderstood my. Is it a good idea, yes. I just didn't think it was doable and wasn't gonna put my 2 cents in if it isn't. I would love them to add it so I can make vids while on the ps3.The only way you can possibly fault my suggestion is by invoking the words "development cost". Usability is not really a valid objection on account of the fact that the feature would help PS3 players make videos more than it would help PC players make video. But at the same time, it would make life easier for both groups.
yeah, Halo was one of the first, I know both Dissidia and Duodecim have video recording too, so I don't think it would be completely impossible to implement.Nothing I heard of. Only one that does Was halo 3, and it was a cheap one and they had it only because it linked the a website. SE would need to make a SS and video part on the website where you can post it from the game. I'm sure that is what those other games do. I don't think it would work for mmo though. I would love if it could but I think the steam would suck.
Uncompressed video files are quite large. >_> This isn't a new fact.
Did you expect something witty?
I Do not really play games on my ps3 so I didn't know. And shouldn't make a game to different on 2 platforms wouldn't be fair. Though I said it wouoldn't didn't mean I thought it was a bad idea.
I love making vids Did a few from WoW. Used wegame game recorder and windows movie maker. Did what I needed it to do![]()
Sorry to be rude, but you should probably refrain from shooting down suggestions unless you have a valid basis for your objection. No offence.I Do not really play games on my ps3 so I didn't know. I use WeGame for FFXIV also, but the videos always end up being massive, laggy, and overall very poor.
Im sure an ingame video recorder would be the best way for PS3 players to take video footage since they cant use WeGame and FRAPS.
I wasn't shooting the idea down. I just didn't know it was possible. I was corrected. No need to make a big deal over nothing. And ya wegame can lag up stuff I played WoW on low settings My vids had lil to no lag.Sorry to be rude, but you should probably refrain from shooting down suggestions unless you have a valid basis for your objection. To continue with the off-topicness. . . If you'd been playing on a Mac, WoW would've had built-in video capture, all ready hotkey'd and ready to go. So, yeah, even if it's not possible on the PS3, there's precedent for different systems having differnet capabilities in this manner.I Do not really play games on my ps3 so I didn't know. I didn't say it was impossible to do that. I know ganes are different when played on different systems like ffxi had a weather off button but ps2/360 didn't I was saying they shouldn't do it since it wouldn't be fair to leave ps3 out in the cold. (people would want to make vids too which included me) Plus it would be a good marketing aid if ppl could make movies while playing ffxiv. PPl love doing machinama and if a game has video making capabilities they really go for those. To continue with the off-topicness. . . Having moddable UI's will most likely not make it to the PS3 (just guessing as i think it'd be tricky and require a lot of SE's resources) and Yoshi's already agreed on having it.I didn't say it was impossible to do that. There was also talk of having seperate interface controls for the different platforms (which makes sense), such as dragging/dropping for PC uses, i dont know if this is still being done though.
there already is drag and drop. take the mouse and highlight the different HUD You can set it how you like. And that is what they meant from what I read up on it. You can increase and decrease the hp par, level bar, you can change locations of every widget minus the npc text bar.Having moddable UI's will most likely not make it to the PS3 (just guessing as i think it'd be tricky and require a lot of SE's resources) and Yoshi's already agreed on having it.
