I craft a couple of them and sell for more than that - though yeah, they're not -too- unrealistic.
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this or confirmed this, but I think that the ifrit drops, at least, are on an hourly cycle. In 10 fights, over 5ish hours, it was 2 drops that were the same in a row each time. It was always a new hour based on when the duty started that seemed to determine which one would drop. So, 2 fights in the same hour gave us the same weapon as a reward.
It could be why people are never seeing their weapon and a lot of the same ones.

Clearly there is something wrong with the game if someone has to do that many runs of the same fight to get a drop. This is a ridiculous thread.
For every one of those runs you did, someone walked home with a happy weapon, ecstatic that they got something.
You got super unlucky, and I feel really sorry for you, but this isn't a problem with the game.
Though, I wouldn't mind if it didn't drop a weapon if there wasn't a corresponding class in the fight.
I'm a BLM and i have done, between yesterday and today 26 Ifrit HM fights and have seen nothing but the same 3 weapons everytime. So 26-0...
A token system or some sort of system, infact any type of system would work apart from this.
Some poor guys on here have done far more Ifrit's than me and still nothing.
I wouldn't consider that luck, that's called absurd, absurd for SE to even think of such a system.. i bet SE themselves don't know how bad drop rates are for this.
This is just plain unlucky, a friend of my dit the Ifrit and Garuda runs many times about 30+ before he finally got his weapons from both, and my lucky break whas i got both weapons in both runs in the first tryClearly there is something wrong with the game if someone has to do that many runs of the same fight to get a drop.

...that's the whole point.
Again, there are other ways to obtain slightly worse items than Ifrit to get you covered til you get a drop. I ran two FC mates through Ifrit last night, one being a MNK and the weapon dropped for him on our first run. It's a matter of chance. That's what roll systems are. There are no guarantees. At all.
Its called a random drop chance. All of the weapons have the same chance to drop you have just been having some bad luck. If you cant deal with that then you probably should not be playing an mmo or at least raiding.
NO ! They are not !
more than 40 ifrit and 10 garuda only saw a WHM weapon only 1 times. It is even worse for fuz. So not only back luck
