This game, to me, subtly reinforces the idea of creating your own groups for content, particularly endgame stuff. Your peers are not the brightest of the bunch, and they never will be. Ironically, this is for reasons very similar to what I quoted from you. If you fancy yourself sensible on the matter, take the time to form your own group for stuff. Or perhaps find others who are like you and join them in an LS or FC. It's extra work, but the payoff is typically far less stressful and exponentially rewarding.
