    Look at her ideas. Look at what has been said. You get a group, that just cannot beat the content, but the majority still wants to bash their head against, even though they aren't improving or just simply aren't geared enough. The people in the group who know this would get smacked with their 1 hour + penalty or have to wait the entire dungeon timer.

    i only ditch when the group im in cant get it right after 8 or so tries per group on a certain primal and i am the last one standing every wipe (btw i went through 4 groups before i was put in a competent one). so take your penalty crying and shove it

    Why why why why why does everyone think the way to improve their experience is to punish others?

    Here's the thing, sometimes groups suck sooooo bad and aren't going to learn.

    I have a <1> marking macro'd to shield lob. I recall one AK where the first pull, I marked the summoner-fellow, and did a little bit of aoe hate, protecting my healer. Dragoon attacks something else, dies off the bat and this FC queueing together (but couldn't find a tank for some 'odd' reason) starts all b*ing at me because "You're the paladin but the dragoon was tanking.". Anyway, I explained that A) proper play is to attack the tank's target, and B) especially for those summoner pulls, it's nearly a must. As thanks for the insight, the healer let me die next pack.

    But back to the point, SE should change their stance -- instead of making people endure bad groups, or punish them for leaving, they should reward them for staying. How about, each try you tally against a boss gives you 5 more philosophy tokens? Or 3? That's not really exploitable, since it doesn't add in mythology. You wouldn't get x tokens for dying, you'd get the total for winning. Like if you die to demon wall twice, rather than the 20 tokens you get, you get 26 (20+3+3).

    Dungeon finder should also give a reward for using it over just queuing with friends (you can probably expect a better run with friends, faster, smoother, so it evens out in the end).

    I like where you're going with this. Instead of penalizing, rewards could be given at the end for say, the highest DPS or the highest HPS. Or a bonus for completion with no deaths.

    I think its better to give parties an incentive to not suck and force people to leave than to penalize people harder for leaving fail parties.

    Something that would solve this or atleast help it is stop cross server DF, just make it your sever DF and anyone added to your black list will not get qued. This would solve a lot of the leaving issue right there.

    Last night alone, I got 90k'd three separate times when the Duty Finder server kept crashing people (there was a thread about it). Two of them were in Titan Hard Mode and my party ended up disbanded when I was able to get back on.

    Why should I have to deal with an hour+ wait for something that is not my fault in the least?

    I apologized but said that they should attempt this content when they have gone through some gear upgrades. (Currently all AF with pre level 40 accessories)

    Figured that I would never do this myself. The fight is hard enough as it is, so the party members probably don't have the same mentality towards other parts of the game. It's a pre-disposed point of view but one that usually turns out true.

    I don't bother checking equips for any other content though, it's usually people going AFK long time that puts me off.

    I would suggest a repeat offender penalty for the first person leaving.

    1st time 15 minutes
    2nd time 30 minutes
    3rd time 45 minutes
    4th time 1 hour. Etc.

    the repeat offender penalty resets every 24 hours.



    Also I think letting people join in provress on primal battles is needed. If the newly joined pkayer joins while everyone is fighting then he should be invulnerable in that circle barrier unable to attack till the pt wipes.

    These 2 things will help witbout being too harsh.
