Well...no. I think why would you?
You just be buying too much for the game.
If you got PC, then you going to buy PS4 and the PC game. Just play PS3 and wait for PS4 to come out, the transition is free.

There is NO PROOF as to the validity of this statement. You will likely have to purchase the PS4 version, as it is a different console. Otherwise, it would say 'Windows' and 'PlayStation' instead of 'Windows' and 'PlayStation3'. Since the PS4 is a different system than the PS3, it may need its own gamregistration (which would add 30 free days (not counting towards Veteran Rewards).

I owned the PC version of 1.0. My PC is old, and while it can play the game, I bought the PS3 version so that I could enjoy the game with less lag, as my PS3 gameplay is smoother. If you ever intend to play on the PC you should pick up the PC version.

Square Enix said players who purchase the PlayStation 3 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version without any additional costs. But Yoshida also said to eliminate any upgrade costs, players will lose the rights to play the PlayStation 3 version if they upgrade to Final Fantasy XIV for the ps4.

Ah, thank you very much. I was unaware of that article, however if you wanted to play on all 3 systems it does confirm you need to buy one of each (or after upgrading to PS4, repurchase the PS3 verson).

I am eager to see the Remote Play w/ Vita option... and also quite eager to see if this means they will release a Vita-exclusive version based off the Remote Play functionality...

Yes, PS3,PS4,PC and PSV will all be on the same servers and the characters will run around together.

The only reason this game will not be on XB1 will be because of Microsoft's 'No Crossplay Servers' rule. If MS gets rid of that rule, it will likely appear on XB1 as well.
