Just waiting for the "Kick" feature to be added. I think every game with a "Dungeon Finder" has it. People will use it to grief, sure.. that's inevitable, but the majority will use it when necessary/needed.

this, again, simply creates a stagnant community by excluding players whom make mistakes or new players with no experience

if you want your community to grow, you must encourage players to learn from mistakes and include new players with no experiance and not exclude them

What about new players with no points?

They will probably get grouped with like people with the same rank. 0 ranked players get grouped with 0 ranked players. Though, would have to be a big gap so that DF doesn't get even slower..

Then new players will get ranked with bad/mean players...

That would be nice but it could also be abused. Tank or healer goes into group and demands the group upvote him/her or they leave giving the party the choice to either do what they say or spend another 30 to 40 min in queue. If it's done when the run is over then I can see that working.

I know it is for RANDOM STRANGERS. I am talking about class roles. In parties, people always compliment tanks and healers, or say "gj guys!" No "good DPS!" I am saying because tank and healer are more essential roles to many people, they will get voted up more likely. Just a concern I thought of. I am all for this system, just being honest!

find a way for your "star" to shine and you will get up votes no matter what role you play ^_^;

personally i plan on using humor to help me get up votes!

To avoid that, voting should only be possible after defeating the boss or when time runs out.
Just like rating the service after you had a live chat with the support.
Edit: And it would be awesome if rage-quitters would lose some points. To make sure that the first person to leave won't get punished when everyone in the group agrees on quitting, there has to be a vote for quitting the dungeon.

the Japanese translation thread most likely has it if you do not speak Japansese

if there is no way to see if someone has up voted you or not, then there is no reason to up vote them for an up vote

more then likely, the votes will be anonymously talleyed and points distributed once a week in order to ensure no one "trades votes"
