First world problems break my heart. Pick up a book or something. You don't want to play the game til its more stable? That's fine, it is your choice. Unsubscribe. I'm sure SE wants you to stay. I'm sure that they are not just bringing down servers for no reason. They want you to stay subscribed. It's how they make money. If they could fix the problems first time with a magic wand, I'm sure they'd have done so. Unfortunately, in the real world, problems aren't fixed like that. You've got an internet connexion - you can find something else to do.

I finished an art commission during the maintenance, then watched my backlog of Daily Show/Colbert Report. Enjoyed myself, went back to grinding some Botanist levels, and logged out for the emergency maintenance. All in all, I've not been adversely affected, though perhaps this is due to the fact that I haven't married DF and Titan HM or AK, and thus don't feel like I have to live my life in these instances.

I heard weekly maintenances are normal n MMO's but that's only what i heard lol...

right this is geting ridiculous. the game has been out a month. today on japanese servers the emergency maintenance is being performed for the 2nd or 3rd time already. and there is still scheduled maintenance incoming!!!

are you kidding me? do you expect me to sub to this game?

Finding something else to do for an hour or two must be really hard to do these days.

If you bothered reading you'd KNOW why the JP servers are having this period of REGULAR maintenance, Yoshi's latest 'state of the servers' post made it abundantly clear to anyone capable of reading and understanding English.

Yes,it's a pain, God knows this is the first MMO in history where the initial post-launch period had big server problems.

Dude, the game JUST launched. Issues pop up with every new launch, and considering how much bitching there is about... well everything... around here, be thankful they are listening to us and trying to fix things. If you can't think of a way to kill a couple hours while SE does maintenance then I feel really sorry for you.
