It's been said that physical attacks that are based on an element (BRD attacks, MNK attacks) they aren't affected at all by requiem.^ PFFFFFFFFT. Whatno. Requiem does NOT buff brd's dps by 60%. Maybe 1.5% on the off chance you have a bard who actually uses Flaming Arrow for anything but adds
This is a stupidly retarded assumption too. A monk, a good one, will out dps an equally geared bard on almost every occasion, even with losing GL3 on invincible phases. A dragoon can deal as much if not more, too, AND will never have a tp problem due to invigorate. Get low? 500 tp, okay.
People who think 3 bard is the pristine set up for end game are deluded.
(edit; didn't realize the therad was this long at first, I tend to hit reply as soon as I see a post i want to respond to, bad habit.0

Need to remember that an attack will only be elemental if the tooltip actually says it's elemental. Fists of Fire does not, actually, mention anything about being fire-elemental! Which might sound counter-intuitive to it's name, but it's a Thing.
I don't know about Burning Arrow, what does the tooltip say?
I read that somewhere the other day and went to test. It is indeed true. I parsed without Requiem on a dummy, then did it again with Requiem. No difference. None. Maybe it was intended to work but doesn't due to some bug, maybe never intended. Either way, the result is the same: Requiem has no effect on Windbite.
