    you can't really defend them for having payment errors, server problems..etc since we do not know what is the cause of it. Quality of the code? Bandwidth problem? System integration problem?
    all of which should have been tested at the maximum allowable scenario instead of the minimum. The only difference is the team they will ended up being assigned to. If a company I work at doesn't catch all these problems beforehand, even the designed ones, we lose business - plain and simple. We go great lengths to draft test cases for QA team to work it out.

    communication teams should always keep in contact with the community, but so far i've seen none. It is always one-sided interaction then leaving the rest to user interpretation. Relying on Yoshida? He is a producer, not a dedicated CSR. Hell as a engineer myself, I've even addressed client issues directly because I'm dedicated to the product that I am part of the developing team and believe that every issue should be addressed.

    Also let face it, most people that should be working on problems regarding their products tend to procrastinate on the situation. Countless times the problems are really just 5 minute fix, just that it takes people 2 days to actually decide to focus on it and fix it.

    That's "most" of the complaint threads? really? None of them are about valid issues with the game? In your opinion, all of the people who bring out flaws are only talking about grass and ass?

    Looking on the first page I see nothing about ass...
    I see AFK leeching and the absence of a votekick
    I see endgame latency
    I see a ton of "Show me your..." threads
    And a few people complaining that the community complains too much (of which you are now counted among them)

    Well then this game is screwed then and i wasted another 60 dollars on an mmo that i thought would be good. Because I don't want to support SE if they dont care about me right? Like seriously stop makign final fantasy, just remake 7 over and over for each new generation of consoles. Also I think I'll quit because they are not answering fast enough for me, even though I have no idea what thier workload is like, I can only assume that because thier a massive company they shold make the people work 18 hours a day so that my problem with the "duty finder taking too long, even though im DPS" or the "Gold spammers are spamming, please Focus on this" is resolved. Those are the complaints im talking about. MMO issues 101. If they had someone respond to every one of those threads saying "Were working on it, please look forward to it" then there would be complaints that were not being heard and thier just genaricly messaging us.

    Now server lag? or Log in issues? on both Ultros and Odin servers I have yet to run into any of that. Going on the counter offensive against my self here, aekt brings up a good point. This should have been tested. But I don't know every major launch of any thing even in the corporate world Target for example, always is a disaster, and thats after multiudes of testing. Sadly, the only testing we can for sure say they did is the beta tests, which were extremly short. If only we could get a REAL inside look on wahts going down in SE FF14 Development Room/building. Then we can all be completly sure thier not just scratching thier arse. Until then all we can do is point fingers between whiners, anti-whining whiners/optimists(myself), hardcore no life gamers, Casual gamers. Because I don't have evidence that thier working on it,but at the same time there is also no evidence that they are not working on it.

    Where I work we have a system where each issue we get a call for, has a sevarity. And depending on that sevarity is what determines the amount fo work that goes into it and how fast it is required to be completed. This is of course based on what has the most Financial impact. I would not be surprised if the issue with people who don't have electronic methods of paying is actualy at the top of the list. But like i said i dont have evidence. It seems the biggest issue though is they are not confirming that "indeed we are aware let us work on it" and thats what might be the seed of all the hate. Closure, is a human need and instinct.

    Are you saying a big company like SE, in this day & age, has the right to create another tetris game that is exactly the same as the original decades ago? And their customers shouldn't be asking for more?

    People are voicing their own opinions about the game, regardless of them being legit or not. And those different opinions are really important to any service company. The only ones who are just pure QQing are your kind, who give no solution to the problems, or simply just ignore them, or even accept them as they're designed by their god of perfection: Square Enix.

    This forum is better than some i have been on over the years imo. People should complain, it brings out problems in the open. Some can be fixed by the community some need SE to sort them out.
    The problem as i see it is some people are rude and do not understand that some things are not going to be fixed overnight.
    SE has many plates to keep up. They are working on fixes,new content, toying with how to combat RMT etc.
    They have to prioritize and what they might see as a priority might be not what you see.

    Patience is what people these days seem to lack. Maybe it is the fact that everything is either really fast or instant. It could be that our society has taught people that they have to fight tooth and nail for other things.

    Fighting amongst ourselves never fixes anything. It only turns us against each other.

    I always thought people with the same likes were supposed to club together because they share the same pass time and have more in common with each other.
    For some reason people seem to prefer to fight it out trying to win something they already lost the moment the argument began.

    OP: I didn't actually read the entirety of the last three pages but people do not come on to forums to pat each other on the back or say "kudos, totes kewl game yo!"

    No, they come to complain, legitimate or not. Message boards are for the disgruntled, bored and the trolls. ESPECIALLY General Forums.

    I guess I just would like to see more patience. I remember how long it took WoW to get duty finder/group finder, and now its a factor every mmo has to have.

    As for respect, to be fair SE has been in business since early NES days, granted they were separated for a time but both have managed to provide games that a vast majority of people enjoy. Otherwise they would not be as big as they are today. And even though they personally stated "Another disaster Like ff14 could destroy SE" they made another one. Even more expensive than before. So ya, they earned my respect honestly. Cause people deserve respect for their accomplishments, and SE is run and operated by people.

    But that thinking is influenced by our political views, which im sure we would also disagree on. Basicly in a nutshell, everyone just chilllllllll. It will be fixed, just let them get PVP functional first
