I totally agree with the OP. They can call me a white knight, I really don't give a darn. I'm enjoying my journey. Would I like it to be a little more challenging? Sure. but I see the vision, and I can wait.

Uhm... what? That's not what I was referring to at all... Though I was hoping you'd cover another 1 of the 5 I mentioned. I guess I'll just wait for the next one. For those keeping count. Still 4 more left.I'm afraid that it's you who doesn't see the whole picture, I find OPs post and your post a bit naive.
Which you can easily translate into not being very observant.
That pretty much sums it up more than any long winded explanation I can give.
But lets keep it on that the gaming industry is a very different beast in general.
I award you best thread of the day!
I'm happy i'm not the only one! No one understands time, especially those that obsessively play this game. You should see the people on here that absorb the game and play it 24/7 and then whine about how they have nothing to do. As if new content is easily just made within a day. I wouldn't worry though! I've been a vet to forums for a long time and usually ( even company devs ) know that this is the place where the loudest whiners will cry out. However it hasn't been horrible here! If it makes you feel any better, it's actually not that bad! I remember Tera online and Aion having a REALLY bad community when it came to insulting a company, let alone posting horrible sexual fetishes everyone in general forums! GW 2 community is really nice but they even still have people that like to nit pick on having constant content because self entitlement has literally gone through the roof with gaming communities, really you're damned it you do, and damned if you don't. That's why I love when I see people posting a thanks to the companies, I think they secretly really appreciate it when they know people enjoy it!
I understand they totally screwed up on their launch, I don't think that'll ever go away really.. However, I don't know about you but i've seen that general gaming communities have completely turned from being suggestive and helpful in changes with info, data and community agreements to now.. " This game sucks because so and so " " This game will fail because Square doesn't listen " " This game will be free because I don't like it " " I can't get what I want because this is hard! This is stupid and breaking the game! " After you see it constantly in games, you sometimes just sorta glaze your eyes over because it's always the same, no sources to back it up, same negative attitude, no suggestions...I'm afraid that it's you who doesn't see the whole picture, I find OPs post and your post a bit naive.

There are so many useless and pointless negative pressure that actually isn't even needed because they can't back their reasoning or it's simply because of personal opinion that doesn't actually affect many of the player base. Now if we had negative feed back that actually was well prosecuted and the community actually agreed with it, that would be a whole other story! But sadly I see a lot of this in many anew MMOs and games where people just spew out words that they think doesn't have any meaning to, but generally affects the player base as a whole for their negative verbal diarrhea.

Another "People should stop being mean to the multi-billion dollar, multi-national corporation" thread
I used to regularly go to the SW:TOR forums (I still play, I just avoid the forums)
and I can assure you: this forum is almost paradise compaired to it
It really all comes down to 'perspective' my friend. Where you see 90% of the comments (very generous) on this board being negative, I see maaaybe 5% (also very generous) of the people actually playing this game finding time to make comments in general. Now I counted (and I could be off a little) 61 total servers. Each server now has (after the maintenance) 7000+ simultaneous connects but lets be conservative and say 5000. Lets assume that each server is half full (2500) and times that by 61 servers. That's 152,500 people happily adventuring. 5% of that is 7,625.
Are there really that many people complaining? I don't see it, but then I'm not always scanning the boards for complainers either. I try to help out in the Tech forums now when I can, but it's not very often. Those that can play, PLAY and those that can't whine. I plan on being here until they shut down the servers or I die, whichever comes first. What are YOU gonna do? *Polishes armor*
Makes me wonder if the OP and I work for the same company lol, seeing someone use the word Angry Clients makes me think so.
