Ok many of you have probably ran the endgame content with warriors and paladins by now if you haven't you wont know what im talking about. lets talk about a few of the warrior specific skills (not marauder ones warrior ones) Lets look at Steel Cyclone first. This skill is a aoe that costs us our Wraith stacks for a 200 potency attack. This is just pathetic and if you were to crit twice in the next few attacks the crits would be for more extra damage than the skill would cause. Essentially making this a unused skill because the infuriate buff granting crit chance and increased heals is better than this skill is no matter the situation. This skill needs to be given a effect that adds a shield based off total damage dealt to the enemy's within range, This would increase its use during large pulls or boss minions, Thus giving us a viable reason to use the skill
Then we have Inner Beast While this skill is useful at times it is still not that good unless you have several other CD's to blow in order to buff the hit. A good hit from this skill will heal in the neighborhood of 1K (non crit his seeing as we cant rely on it critting due to expending infuriate and losing our crit buff doing so. and on moss endgame bosses they have attacks that hit 1k all the time so really you can negate one hit every 15 seconds is about what it results in, and that's almost not worth mentioning. So once again a skill that is almost unused due to Wraith being better than the skill itself. In order to make this skill useful it should have the heal remain the same but after the heal should either apply a shield or a straight % of damage reduction for X amount of seconds. Thus allowing us more utility with this skill being used preemptively against large hits instead of healing a small chunk after the hit.
Then we have Unchained a skill that costs wraith to use in exchange for increased DAMGE OUTPUT..... SE are we supposed to be DD or TANKS? This skill needs a COMPLETE rwdo or to be a single CD and not cost wraith. The ONLY TIME this skill is usefull from a tanking point of view is if used with Infuriate to instantly refill wraith the use inner beast for a slightly larger heal. Keep in mind this costs two full infuriate stacks to do making it nearly unused in boss battles or even trash fights. This needs to be taken off the wraith cost use tp and have a single CD or needs to Become a sheild that costs our wraith stacks to use but not require full stacks and gives a sheild based on how many stacks are consumed.
So that covers the Warrior specific skills now lets go look at some of our marauder ones mind you most of these are no better
Foresight Increases Defense by 20% for 20 Seconds. This is just pathetic seeing as the majority of the real hits in boss battles ARE NOT PHYSICAL ATTACKS making the bonus here = NOTHING This should be changed to either a VERY HIGH increased parry rate or even a Shield based off of how much health WE ARE MISSING. This would be a very useful skill and would become much more viable for use.
Now we are on to Bloodbath.... really SE -.- a skill that gets us healed for 50-100 per attack that is about 3 seconds apart due to the retarded GCD and ANI locks this is completely useless as a skill. Instead this skill should Have its healing increased buy a good amount enough to have it healing for 200-350 per skill used this would allow us to really gain something out of its use.(this skill has not been helpful past low level solo use)
Now for storms path This skill needs to be changed to add Enmity and also needs its potency increased slightly to make it viable perhaps a potency of 150 - 175 or perhaps make its potency based off of how many wraith stacks you currently have up. I say this because its current heal is completely negligible from a single hit point of view, We can use its once then not again for quite some time gaining a VERY SMALL chunk of hp back. The enmity boost would allow this skill to be used more while tanking without needing to risk losing hate due to low hate generation via the combo it use's.
Holmgang... Not even getting started on this crock of shit skill. We should gain a Defense % boost while locked in place with our target, Or perhaps a Enmity boost while locked in place in order to use it for recovering that mob you lose mid fight.
Last but not least Fracture This is purely a DOT not self heal no enmity generation nothing just damage This should cause us to gain a small Chunk of health back every time we attack something with this debuff on them Perhaps as small as like 75-100 per hit with it on along with the damage it causes.
Now im sure someone will post here saying "Thats op" No its just the high risk high reward tank we should have had from the start. Would love to get other's opinions on this as long as they are constructive opinions.
