I can't confirm or deny if I've ever let Wizards die in EQ, by allowing them to draw agro on purpose, because they kept nuking a mob before I could establish a good build-up of hate making me work extra hard to pull the mob off. was I to specific in that?

HHAHAH Ive played eq2 for years so I lol'd hard at this.

I was wondering as well what tanking was like in this game , and this thread pretty much answered it for me. In other MMO's ive always been the healer with a dps char as a substitute if one of my other friends was playing healer at the time. the only time ive ever been a tank class was in eq2 - and I was a berserker ^_^ Needless to say, I was usually the Off-Tank ( tho sometimes MT ), but it went really well. Never could get the hang of tanking in other games, but im thinking of giving it a try when im done with my BlackMaging =^_^=
