As for the ground. I've been fighting that thing for about two weeks. The ground thing feels exactly the same now as it was before. The difficulty feels the same. IF you can prove it by finding gameplay of it done few weeks ago, and a gameplay done like.. this week, by all means.

Not sure why it's so hard for you to admit that instead of the instance being nerfed, you could just admit that you've improved a great deal and became better players. >_____>

It is possible Suiri, this is why I'm asking in the forum, there WAS an undocumented HP nerf, I just want to know if the times on the ground areas were also modified

Such a solid argument, you still fail at givin raw datas since the pad gameplay with this game is like absolutely the same than keyboard & mouse. Oh right you maybe won't be able to do a 180° turn fast, how horrible.

    It's not the same
180º turns are important (and even if this was the only different thing, it'd already be stuff you can do with one, and can't with the other, so advantage exists)
Keyboard and mouse have way more keys, options, and combinations, it is pretty clear to me that pad-players are at a disadvantage.

Haven't noticed anything regarding the speed of its attacks. I do kill it way faster than I used to, but I've always attributed that to the group getting better gear.

Also, while not being on par with a kb/mouse, don't underestimate the gamepad too much. You can do instant 180 degree turns on it. Pressing down while using a gamepad actually makes you instantly turn and run away, instead of backpedaling

ummm you press down on the left joystick and you are running in the opposite direction. Have you even played with a gamepad? FYI you can do this SAME setting with the keyboard so you don't have to turn around with the mouse. It actually makes a 180 FASTER than on a mouse since the response time to be running full speed in the same direction is going to be whatever the ms latency on your keyboard is (like 1ms?) A mouse, even at the highest DPI and lowest ms is still going to take you longer to turn around, and less precise. Perfect 180, press down on the joystick (or S on the keyboard), as opposed to an approximation of a 180 spin the camera around until you are roughly at your 180.

Having used them both, the only reason I choose to use a keyboard and mouse is a lack of buttons on a single hotbar and my dislike for shifting between them. But with having 4 configurable targeting filters and a them allowing you to run full speed in any angle on the joystick, I would say this puts you slightly above a full keybound keyboard/mouse player (assuming you can get comfortable with on the fly hotbar switching).

PS: If they would make it so you could have a party tab-target and an enemy tab target like you can on a controller, I would be a very happy person.

Average gear level progression, how does it work?

PS: There is no "lengthening" of abilities in AK like Demon Wall's "lane" attacks. People have learned the fight, gotten better gear, and SE has upgraded servers so it's less likely to be 20 yards out of an AoE and still get hit.

A simple comparing of parses when AK was brand new and now can verify this.

It's been documented in gaming tournaments that gamepad players are at a disadvantage to mouse and keyboard. Yes you can make it work well, but the edge will always go to the mouse/kb.

ummm maybe for an FPS, or other type game... but what tournaments have people done with this game to determine that?

Trust me, I will not normally TOUCH a gamepad. It is why I own a PC and hate consoles. But this game actually does gamepads correctly so as not to be hurtful to the team and I would argue it may be either on par with or slightly better (again given the targeting filters... really wish they would make an option for that on the keyboard).

Edit: It is like those dual stick shooter games, that you can also play with a keyboard mouse... beat hazard comes to mind... I would argue that a controller is way better. Or platformers like Super Meat Boy... sure you can play with a keyboard and mouse, you can also not bathe for a month on end, doesn't mean you should. Keyboard and mouse is not UNIVERSALLY better.

Keyboard/mouse has a ton of extra flexibility that gamepad does not. I do not know anyone who is good at the game who doesn't appreciate the competitive edge that keyboard/mouse brings to the table.
