This is working for me. Not just for "Weight of the land".If weight of the lands is casted under you while you're casting all you have to do is move out of it and try to cast something whilst out of the circle, the cast doesn't have to be successful, you just have to cast something so the server "supposedly" re-register your new positioning.
But it can't be the solution to the problem. SE please do something about it!
.
I've seen a few people says this works, so maybe all that we need is:
1. Get the client to send a position update when the player clears the red area.
It sounds like that would greatly improve things.
this would help alot, but the servers still have massive amounts of lag indemic
Pay attention..
Move Faster...
Its not hard to dodge the Aoe stuff.. watch the cast bar.. not the animation..
Watch the bosses cast bar....... not animations
While I totally do understand and mostly agree with that point, as a caster, I'm rarely targeting the boss. I simply have to go by the animation. the animation should match the cast bar. That's ALL there is to it. No circle, AoE, Line or Box should ever be displayed for even a single 10th of a second after the cast bar is finished. If it takes 2 seconds to cast a move, the visual indicator should be there for exactly 2 seconds.
Shall I remind what the topic is about?
About server bad refreshment on position.
Square didn't made those aoe on the ground to be pretty, they are part of the strategy to help players not to be randomly one shot. They are part of the battle fight. This isn't normal that a big part of the mechanism isn't working.
Please before commenting you should read Yoshi's post about the issue.
Geez I hate people who comes in without having the problem and giving an opinion about it "you nab I don't have any problem so it's coming from you being stupid". This is purely trolling. Either you read the issue, either you don't comment.
Move Faster?
You are suggesting we make our chars move faster?
Please tell us how you do this, because the only way would be to hack the client. Is that what you do?
