Really not sure how this is helpful for either side of the coin here... so just going to ignore you now.

Why are there not people in this thread creating wonderful photoshops of, for instance, hairy Roegadyn and Highlander Hyur males? Come on guys. Get with it!

men in real life look like what you call men because they NATURALLY have body hair
men in Eorzea do not have body hair naturally, so they look like Eorzean men, not real life men
Haha, I thought the thread title was interesting. I'm not at all opposed to it being an option, in fact i do remember thinking it was a bit odd when the game first came out and there were all these giant grizzled buff roegadyn who were all baby smooth everywhere but their beard lol
This is the thinking for most who are in support of this implementation. It just seems extremely out of place for some people who play characters and think "Well... this looks awkward..." obviously it should be an option that way no one is stuck with just one way of making characters ^.^Haha, I thought the thread title was interesting. I'm all for customization as long as it fits the lore/general aesthetic of the game. I think with the type of faces available in the game body hair as an option makes sense. If this was like a lot of south korean (aiion, tera, etc) mmos where all the faces/physiques look like kpop stars it'd be out of place imo. With the facial styles and general physiques of hyur, roegadyn, etc. I think it'd be a sensible option to have. Lallafel are so neotenyzed that body hair on them would be nonsensical and creepy tho. That's my opinion. This is the thinking for most who are in support of this implementation.
