    Or do it like in FFXI when you cap you get Merit points, for every level you get a bonus one point to add to any status. Not only make it a great end game, but encourage level 50 to keep going. Right now, once you Cap you basically done and you will never revisited old Dungeon or Fates anymore.

    Thats a great idea as well! Diablo 3 has a "paragon" system. After capping at level 60 you gain 100 additional Paragon levels. Each one offers a small stat boost as well as magic and gold find.

    Im not saying Square do that, but I do like the idea of extra levels to gain small advantages to our stats. Maybe we could get extra attribute points and some Tombstones to spend each level.

    I agree I would like the return of the Merit system. I will never deny it made me sink many hours into my character.

    It wasnt extra levels Wiggles. You got a merit point every 10,000 EXP. You spent an increasing amount to up stuff. You also had a limit in each area.

    For example in the Attribute area you could level up any stat you wanted but you only had a total ability to do so eight times. So you could dump all eight into str, or 4 into str and 4 into vit. And it would cost like 1, 2, 6, 10, 20 etc

    Like wise there was a section for Weapon Skills, Defensive Skills, Class Unique Merits Group 1 and 2. etc.

    I really like that concept. The more incentive we have to continue leveling the better!

    Or they could at least let us fill up the exp bar because they said they ARE going to raise the lvl cap, not for a good while, but it is gonna happen. So there is no point in adding merits just yet, i thnk Yoshi said he was probably going to raise the cap for the 1st expansion? but he also said that's not gonna be for a good 2 years or so.
