I thought this was nulled due to the fact that SCH can steal skill Cleric Stance. But what do I know. Im a WHM lol

You can use Cleric Stance on SCH but all you are doing is flipping stats and because of a relic your Int might be the same as Mnd so it would be pointless. Not to mention the -20% (percent?) Healing.

Also its key to remember why mind is so important for scholar.
As arcanist, we get no bonus to mind, unlike conjurers. So we are already down 30 mind from passives, just because arcanist is marked as dps so it gains instead 30 int.
So dumping all your stats into mind only puts you on par with a baseline 0 mind white mage.
Just some food for thought.
Except smn would then loose access to either thm for swiftcast and thunder (unacceptable) or arch for raging strikes and quelling strikes (unacceptable). Giving smn cnj as a support class doesn't really solve the problem unfortunately. Also... if they did this.. smn would need to be able to wear healing gear to get the effect (which it currently cant). This would also mean only one set of gear for both classes (full healing gear). While this change seems obvious, it makes a lot of problems.
WHM and BLM come from two classes that play entirely different. SMN and SCH are the only jobs at this point that come from the same class that branch off in two directions: healing and dps. Attribute points aren't being put into SMN or SCH, but ACN since that's actually what you're leveling. Personally, I dumped all my points into INT and I play both classes and I haven't had any trouble healing on SCH whatsoever. In my opinion, attribute points all boils down to preference.

The main Darklight pieces give 77 MND, and AF2 gives 112. So an all INT SCH in AF2 with their points specced into INT is about as effective as a Darklight equipped SCH with their points in MND. The difference 30 points makes on healing is dramatic.
And it seems like SE was trying to take a "give-and-take to getting "2 jobs"" approach to limit the advantage someone leveling Arcanist would have, but considering it only takes a few days to grind to 50, they've only succeeded in limiting the play options of people who level ACN.
