May I ask what mmo did you consider challenging just for frame of reference.

GW2 and Maplestory were beyond easy: the solution to becoming as wealthy as possible inside the game: open my real life wallet and convert into ingame wealth. It is a no brainer; took me less than 1 second to figure out. FFXIV is far more complex.
@Roaming: I've yet to find an MMO that was truly challenging. Maybe the very beginning of WoW, it was a bit more thought-inducing, because tanks had to work for agro, healers had to work to keep people alive, and so on. Aside from that, I've never seen one.
@Hurtige: That's my point. They were all easy, some more than others. I was just saying this isn't the only MMO I've played. :P

1) at higher level you will have a lot of skill out gcd at place between your skill in gcd. plus you will have a lot to keep track, like red circle and other.
2) with the add of level you will get more skill to transfert and all... but you don't come here for create... your class, but play your class. it's quite different.
3) err... my 3 50 have a tons of skill and i use most of them. the dragoon (by example) have around 8-9 skill in the rotation in gcd and 7-8 skill out gcd.
4) it still need some change on this point, i think they need to add leves to the leveling process... fate don't must be the main manner to get exp, it give born to zerg group in area i found it horrible!
5) ok for this on i will say you haven't try any content passed 30... is not possible... the number of boss extremely dangerous that leave you only a little margin of error are not few...
don't judge the game on the 30 first level get to 50 and you will see that some of your point are false.
Lol tablets are just as bad as cell phones
I do have to laugh though when those who think they played a hard core mmo and never played everquest try dying and losing a level or two then you won't think repairing your armor is so bad.

That post makes me wish you couldn't edit to get past the text limit. O_o
1) A longer GCD has nothing to do with casuals. You could say shortening it would cater more to them.
5) So, you've beat Titan Hard mode and Coil? Right, you haven't. It reminds me when a wow podcaster kept going on how easy wow was, but every attempt at raiding current content, they failed hard before even getting close to the final boss, because some one else did it.
The problem with difficulty tuning, is where do you set it? People talk about how vanilla wow was harder, but even the devs have said it was basically a tank and spank with gear checks, mechanics would be laughed at if they attempted them today. Then they saw how by making things simply "harder", a lot of where they spent their money was essentially wasted, so they made it where more people could do it to make it worth the money to do it at all. What is easy for one, might be too hard for another, and you can't honestly give an objective hardness or challenging rating to anything.
I will say this, you want a challenge? Run permadeath with only pugs. There you go. You die, you delete the character and everything they have and start over. Anything less, then stop complaining about how easy things are.
OP, enjoy constant wiping on titan hm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game has nice difficulty curve imo. But the increase in difficulty becomes very steep in hard mode primals.
Who cares?
