    The diversity you get in other MMOs from talent trees etc. is the same diversity you get from being able to level all classes on your character

    you guys have to remember that this is a Final Fantasy game
    FF's core is the jobs based system, not talent based
    if you want talent, you can play WoW/Rift/GW2/SWTOR/etc
