Monk rebalancing should start with GL being able to stack up to say 30 seconds, with each additional reapplication adding more time to it, instead of refreshing it. This would solve tons of issues and I prefer this route to a ranged refresher. I don't want to even think about how bad GL will be in PVP at this point if nothing is done.

We need our animations changed and reduced down to the fastest possible to work with our low GCD. Skills only fire off after their animation is completed, with Dragon Kick, ToD and Demolish having long animations, it has huge impacts on our class as they should always be used and are needed to achieve maximum DPS. Instant skills also give us issues if their animation is too long, such as Howling Fist. Where Steel Peak is perfect due to its short duration.

We also need more functional skills. OIP is practically useless at this point, however it would make an awesome PVP skill. AotD needs to be reworked as well, having an AOE silence that can only be done in one form handicaps us once again.

If melee are to be more single target focused, then both Dragoons and Monks should receive a slight increase to potency across the board. Otherwise both classes should receive additional AOE abilities. If classes are to fit in to specific roles, then make them masters of those. Right now, melee do not do the most single target damage in the game.

I would go in to server lag, however this is felt by all classes, so there is no point bringing this up.
