    Damn it i wanted to complain 'bout the music now i listened to the last two pieces linked and im not in the mood anymore....curses! XD

    Anyways... some Music indeed is missing some connection to the Area, but readig through this thread i learned he missed context when he composed the Stuff.... why didnt they give him more detailed info QQ.

    Don't know why he wasn't given more detailed info, or at least an idea of what normal FF music is like, but maybe music will be one of those things that's improved/changed over time with updates.. :?

    I would think he'd know since he composed for FF I-IX and some of X. As far as the environments, the various themes do fit them nicely, aside from Mistbeard Cove, unless they are going to add some hidden pirate base down there. Black Shroud could've used a more classic Final Fantasy style forest theme as well...and of course some dungeons could use added music, at least in certain sections.

    The music thats here is good, they just need to get Uematsu to compose more themes for different areas (dungeons, hamlet villages, special NM battle themes, etc.)

    EDIT: Actually looking at Mistbeard Cove's map, the music fits perfectly: There are several areas that show that it's most likely going to be used as a kind of pirate base. Sections of the map are labeled as - Kitchens, Arms Hold, Plunder Hold, Salt Hold, Slophouse, etc.

    Welll I didn't know he composed nearly all the FF's :/ As for Mistbeard Cove, the music suits the area, don't get me wrong, it's just that we'd like to see nice catchy music like that in places that were in all the time, like the main cities and whatnot. This is the point that Ivera keeps stressing as well. That'd be cool though, to hear different music for battles such as NM's, or in specific dungeons..

    There are songs ripped from the beta version that sound more "in-context" for areas we currently have than the music already there...I think whoever placed the music where it is just didn't do a very good job on the main cities.
