I feel that Battle music should cut on when you enter active mode instead of when you engage an enemy, and go back to area music when you return to passive mode.
Thoughts?

I agree with this, there are several times when I engage in combat and there is no battle music. I think it could be because I return to combat too soon after leaving it, thus not allowing the battle music to load or something, but if it came on every time I entered active mode then that wouldn't be a problem anymore.

I'm not really for that. If one accidently hits F, then the music will tune in, and tune off again when you hurry to go back to passive mode. And I see people in active mode in the cities - probably for the purpose of looking cool, so active mode doesn't always mean battle. I feel the battle music should be reserved for that purpose only.
But that's just my thoughts.![]()
I agree with Leowilde. Leave it how it is.
It should be that the battle music is active whenever the following conditions are met:
1. Your party has claimed a mob "name turns red"
2. You are in active mode
As of now, there are so many times during NM battles where the battle music just turns off and I have to fight with the regular old background music.
Thats a good one too. some customization options for it would be nice too.It should be that the battle music is active whenever the following conditions are met:
