I like the approach to capes in Aion, where they represent your guild, with custom emblems and even being able to upload your own image to be the guild crest.
I believe they said Ps3 limitations on capes.
i missed your bad sense of humor.
However, some armor here and there it's a thing, but they don't want put a slot for capes because:
1)capes have clipping problems. I look at you, whm hood
2)programming a realistic behavior for cape is difficult, and cost both money and system resources
3)40+ realistic capes on screen put much more stress on user's hardware
meh instead of a cape give me this -![]()
Right, but the entire set is built to flow well with the cape. That's probably the only way we're going to see capes - if the set is designed with them in mind. As an addon piece of gear.. Highly doubt it.
A player is already wearing this on Gilgamesh and the cape does not show, unless it's a toggle option through the helm toggle.
That was exactly what I was thinking! The 1st game where I actually liked capes, that's why I was wondering how they/if they were going to do this here
ive seen two people with the Herklaedi armor now, they both had no capes which I take as a fact there aint no player capes. If capes were in the game for players to use I would cape the heck out on that armor if I had it! :P
Umm what? Everyone seems to hate capes. Ff1 had capes, 2 had capes, 3 had a shit ton of capes, 4 had capes, 5 had capes, and 6 did as well. And I feel this game has more things in common with the early FFs than any other. I think it is more stupid to not have them. Also stop saying you will need tights with it. They wore capes in the medieval days before ideas of super hero's even started.
Edit: I really only read first page but now I see more people support capes. Woop!

We already have the Infantry Shirt and the upcoming Lightning outfit which both have cape like scarfs.
I love the Infantry Shirt.
