Nope, this is something completely different and add those issues written in that thread...Is this similar to y'alls issue?http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...s-everybody%29

Looks like the same issue to me.
And based on reports from within FC, some people that used to have lag issues like this now no longer have it, and others that didn't use to have it now have it.
Can't we get an official response regarding this matter? This is a gamebreaking issue for many and we all lose paid playtime due to this problem.
Been getting strange lag issues post-maintenance for my character too, namely in instances:
1) With treasure: loot/pass options not registering, having to redo them. I wasn't the only one who had this problem, either.
2) This, from an accepted bug report:I had issues in general just getting the game to target the ONLY mob that was in front of me on my screen, and nothing else could be targeted (not even allies). This was especially true with the mini-boss mob in Tam-Tara Deepcroft. When, as melee, you try to hit a mob that is moving and it becomes virtually impossible because according to the server, you're WAY further from the mob from what you can see on the screen, making the skill you're spamming/trying to use repeatedly starting in your screen, but not finishing to cast/getting interrupted non stop as long as the mob runs (as a monk this sucks, because it makes you lose all your buffs, besides doing 0 DPS). Note that you can hit the mob if you run (in your screen) IN FRONT of it, which is totally stupid, but in other players screens, and in the server, that would translate into you running behind it.
3) Abilities stopping in the middle of animation, then the completion animation showing. Again, exaggerated in instances like dungeons.

I noticed this as well, not all the time, but frequently enough to be noticed.
Hyperion NA
Bump.
The lag is still there and it is still unplayable for some. Why don't we get an official response? What use does a support forum have when no one answers?
I doubt they will do anything until next maintenance, even then they will keep the build in delay.
Which means any lag spike from you or the server(usually the server here) will pretty much screw stuff up.
The only time I saw this type of delays was in Vanilla WOW when the servers where not able to handle the load.
On the other hand that was back in the stone age.
Also every one had a problem with it, not every one has it now.
Guildy from the same country has no problem what so ever, while everything blinks infront of me.
From my side all stuff seems fine so how does the server decide who gets screwed over?
