strange lag issues (they started after today maintenance )

Lag/Network Update for people tracking the network issues
I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a tinet.net NOC technician.

The short answer:

5-10% packet loss @ ormuco-gw.ip4.tinet.net [216.221.156.110]

This IP is being advertised to multiple circuits (3 maybe?). The tinet.net is running fine. The NOC tech has confidence one of the others was fine too, and pointed me to the NOC for Cogent Communications, cogentco.com.

I just sent them an email, hoping to get the same outstanding service Tinet.net provided.

Hey guys, this is not a new issue the maintenance just highlighted it for you because you're the unlucky ones to get the servers that lag. Please see this thread:

Guys, I just did a Titan run and I had 0 lag spikes. Try it now and see if you guys are having it good as well.
I hope it was just temporary and it's better now.

I had an MTR running for the last 2 hours. I was at 10% packet loss, but dropped to 3 over the last hour.

After restarting it, I'm now getting 0% for the first 5 minutes.

Someone must have jiggled a cable....

I tried to do what they did with the netstat and finding the ip in the other topic, ping is fine in tracert, still rubberbanding and delay, this is still not an acceptable service in 2013 for me, I'm sorry it's just not on par, it's impossible to be doing anything decent -_-

Since maintenance today things are worse than ever. I cast protect and 3 seconds later the animation starts. Health bars are like 2 casts behind what i have cast. I cast a cure and all my buttons remain greyed out for a further 1 or 2 seconds. Sorry but this far from a pay worthy service in its current state.

Okay after some testing

pinging the server for a few minutes shows zero packet loss.
tracert gives hops on avg of 100 ms
I can download P2P at high speed

Beta 3 worked beatifully and since then things have gotten progressively worse. I have tried forwarding ports, dmz nothing makes a difference!
