TGS Titan Event and Cactaur Earrings?

just the idea that getting something that looks that cool is just random chance seems weird
not to mention it's like best in slot for damn near every job until like level 29 o_O

This is why I'm very interested in these earrings. I can actually use them haha... (plus I like event goodies). I don't understand why there isn't a healthier selection of earrings pre level 29 - especially for casters.

That wouldn't make any sense. If that were the case, people would just make 8-man teams from the same server and kill Titan at TGS for earrings.

The worlds that get earrings are chosen via random-select. Every time Titan is killed, a new world is given earrings (that sounds quite silly out of context). Over the course of 4 days, it's highly likely that Titan will die enough for every server to get earrings.

We have no idea how the TGS/SE reps will handle party formations at the event. What if groups have to get "approved" before fighting? (If anyone actually knows, please chime in!) Also, if a server is chosen twice, I'm guessing they would reroll what server gets the earrings, right? >.>
