Incorrect NPC dialog: local leves NPC

Kilta, the point is, if you didn't know in advance that you could only get more leves after the 36 hour reset, you would have assumed that you could pick up 8 more right away as well. A new player is not armed with the knowledge of the reset, thus, regardless of if the npc's grammar is "technically" correct it is still misleading. Grammar can be correct and also misleading at the same time.

If the way an NPC says something is misleading new players, change it. They've changed NPC speak before, they can do it again. Quit getting stuck on if it is "technically" correct grammar. It's obviously misleading and needs to be changed.

I wouldn't say it's misleading, I'd say you assumed more than what was stated and were angry when your assumption was wrong.

However if they added something that said "you can only obtain 8 Regional and 8 Local guildleves every 36 hours (earth time)" to the first leve (and also make it required, since it is what you'll be doing most of the time) as a tutorial message, it would help. In fact the game might say that but I didn't bother to read it >.> The game needs more in-game information regardless...it's nearly impossible to do anything outside of grind without relying on your linkshell and a database.

I'm not the OP, I've been playing since 1st alpha, I know all about the reset, but I'm trying to see it through the eyes of a player that does not know about the reset. The only thing I'm angry about is the nitpicking that's going on here. Thread done as far as I'm concerned here.
