My Critical rating is 288 but i dont really do a whole lot of damage the only time i notice i do alot is when i use the full combo up to rage of halone

Exactly my point. Your crit rating increases your chance to land a critical hit, however you have no idea how much of an increase you are getting. Maybe your gear and materia increases your crit rating by 100 points, but is your crit chance at 6%? 10%? You have no idea and the only way to find out is if you parse your damage over a 10 minute interval so you can break down the data and see how often you crit. It would be much better if it just told us what our stat increases did as opposed to going through that because the current system actually discourages experimentation of stat set-ups.
