Honest question, I'm curious, not trying to troll or insult, but why do you need to read the chat that happened while you were not actively playing?

The same reason people go to facebook and twitter i'd like to know what i missed out on, plans for the day, who got what level last night, fun stories!, jokes, horror stories of pugs. but also if im paying for the service shouldn't i be able to use it if im not there? if this were the same way with your internet you would be kinda pissed lol "ohh i see you havnt moved your mouse in 30 minutes, you have to relog onto your ISP now"

Thank you for the answer. I guess I can sort of understand why you want to see the LS chat, it's just not something that ever occurred to me.

Regarding your right to stay logged in because you're paying, I do still have to disagree with that way of thinking. I just think that it's similar to remaining in a crowded restaurant for hours, talking to your friends, but preventing others from eating just because you've paid to be there. If the restaurant was empty, or didn't have a waiting line, it would be different; but with crowds lining up to try to get space, I just can't be that discourteous. *shrug*
