You can earn a sweet dime from trade leve's! Also level a crafting profession, and milk it out of all those leveling with leveling gear and materials!

The combined total of all current gil-generating methods is enough to supply the in-game economy.
If that were not the case, then us gatherers, crafters and farmers would not be getting rich right now.
Don't blame us if you don't level one of these and find out for yourself.
QQ all you want. You'll just QQ and be out of gil.
We're all aware of this fact. But the OP is asking how to earn gil and we're pointing out the best methods to do so. The economy subject has already been discussed explicitly in another topic.

Ok. And what if I dont want to craft or gather anything- I just want to kill mobs, compleate dungeons. How can I get gils? Or FF is a game only for crafter, gatherers and other botanists?
Ok OP here is your answer lvl a gathering jobs up and pick at least one crafting job. you get 6 leve's mina day . (correct)
now you grab the the level most grab for adventure guild where they a crafting.
now what you want to do is make a HQ item by improving QA and Proggesion on the targeted ITem that the leve requires
now once you get that HQ item you trade it the guy that needed the item for the leve and you get 2x-3x reward form it and ton of exp for doing that leve. now if your adamatoise I can hold your hand and even walk you throught the process of doing this .. shoot I will even make you a HQ crafting set to help you getting start on your way to DoL DoH
At the moment a ton is being generated by people doing quests from level 1-50 since the game was just released. Capital =/= income. Calm down and keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you're talking about. The combined total of all current gil-generating methods is enough to supply the in-game economy.

I made about 50k in 2 hours tuesday night just listening to podcasts and running lvl 45 leves. I ended up with 30k from the leves (only had to repair gear twice for about 2-3k) and then made another 20k selling all the HQ wolf fangs and equipment.
I was doing it pretty casually on my whm and levelling up my chocobo at the same time, so i'd imagine you could make a lot more.

Thank you. That is the real truth Im talking about. All gils for this moment were earned with the story and side quests, but quests are gone- how to earn gil? The amount of gil is getting low every day, because people use teleports and fix gear, buy food. Soon there will be no gil in the game. And I didnt get the answer- how to earn gils, if I dont want to waste my time on crafting and gathering? Is it a PvE game or some kind of economics simulator?

Like I mentioned in my first post. You can also farm mobs for their skins/hides and other stuff. Not every crafting material is obtained through gatherers.
If you don't want to level those things, that's your choice. But you can still look up on the market what sells for a decent price, look up which mob drops it and start killing them. Heck, you can even wear crappy gear for it so that you can turn them into materia and sell them for gil. Voila! You got two ways to get gil without leveling any craft or gathering class.

Onyxys mind if I rephrase the question, since for some reason all the responders are missing it?
What's the best way for a now level 50 player (having almost no quests left) earn money other than obtaining it from other players?
