oh get over yourself. This isn't insecure. Login names for an account are NOT your player names. This just gives a player name, which can easily be found any ways.

On another note, I had 1.3mil gil before lvl 50. After a week of tomb farming and dungones i'm down to 300k. Sure I have a level 40 alc, but that doesn't bring in the money like a Miner/Bot/carp will.

For Gil Generation the best thing to do is Leve's.

Crafting / gathering leve's give you the most gil but battle leves will give you enough gil to sustain your repair costs.

The game is not easy you need to work for your gil and I like that.

To the guy complaining with only battle jobs to make money, of course it will be harder for you.

Crafting and gather classes are suppose to be good ways to make money, I would be pissed if they didn't.

Also you only NEED gil for repairs, you get gear from playing the game, if you teleport and use up all your gil that is your problem, you could run (traveling takes gil but a lot less)

Also I highly doubt SE will truly let this economy get that bad where everyone is running around with no gil. (more sinks then generation)

Sure there are tons of sinks but none are "mandatory" but repairing right now.

I was doing it pretty casually on my whm and levelling up my chocobo at the same time, so i'd imagine you could make a lot more.
Noob question, but are you talking about gathering/crafting leves or battle leves? Thought you were talking about gather/craft leves but you mention you were leveling chocobo too so now im confused what leves you are doing @_@ i'd surely like to be able to make gil and level chocobo at the same time xD

I wish people would stop using the Market as the solution to "creating" gil. It's not a permanent solution and even the developers said so, and are working on it. They've said in patch 2.1 there will be dailies for 50s so that should fix it for the most part.

And you are completely full of shit too. HQ Leve's give like 500 gil MAX. MAYBE 1k at level 50. IF your lucky. There is NO WAY you make 30k a day at level 20. STFU

And I hate to say it, but the developers already have acknowledged there is a problem with it. They are just checking on how best to rectify the issue without overflooding the market with fresh gil.

So PLEASE, enough with the "omg there is no problem" from level 20 characters. You know nothing.

Spirit bond gear while running easy dungeons like CM, Prae, Wanderer's, and AK and sell the materia. Make two armor sets, one for spirit bonding and one for your regular gear. Switch to regular gear for bosses. Most people don't care what you're wearing for trash mobs. You can also farm tomes and buy the crafting items to sell. Potash and coke are popular right now.

Your only other option is to farm mobs that drop something worth selling or do battle leves. You will not earn gil as fast as gatherers and crafters, but these methods should pull in enough to keep you afloat. If these aren't good enough, then tough cookies.

There is no evidence that the gil sinks outweigh the gil fountains and that this will lead to an economic collapse. The economy is doing fine, learn to earn gil like the rest of us.

Save your darn gil! Simple as that. I have almost 300k saved, and most of the gear is cheap on the ah. It is not hard to get gil, I get tons of gil on a daily basis by crafting, farming, doing fates, and leves. Leves give you good gil as well as some quests. So there is lots of ways to make gil.
