Im talking not about my problem, but about the problem of the game. We can see: THERE ARE many ways for gils geting out from the game (teleports, fixing, food...) and NO WAYS for income gils into the game. Fates and levequests give tiny amounts of gil. Crafters and gatherers can trade, yes, but amount of gils geting low every day. Soon you will not be able to sell anything, because people will not have gils

Thebatman, yes, you can rephrase the question)) Im interesting in that too

Spirit bond gear while running easy dungeons like CM, Prae, Wanderer's, and AK and sell the materia. Make two armor sets, one for spirit bonding and one for your regular gear. Switch to regular gear for bosses. Most people don't care what you're wearing for trash mobs. You can also farm tomes and buy the crafting items to sell. Potash and coke are popular right now.

Your only other option is to farm mobs that drop something worth selling or do battle leves. You will not earn gil as fast as gatherers and crafters, but these methods should pull in enough to keep you afloat. If these aren't good enough, then tough cookies.

There is no evidence that the gil sinks outweigh the gil fountains and that this will lead to an economic collapse. The economy is doing fine, learn to earn gil like the rest of us.

I have no idea what you mean. BUY lvl 45+ white/green gear off the auction house that can be converted, equip it, run a dungeon and turn it into materia.

Ok OP here is your answer lvl a gathering jobs up and pick at least one crafting job. you get 6 leve's mina day . (correct)

now you grab the the level most grab for adventure guild where they a crafting.
now what you want to do is make a HQ item by improving QA and Proggesion on the targeted ITem that the leve requires
now once you get that HQ item you trade it the guy that needed the item for the leve and you get 2x-3x reward form it and ton of exp for doing that leve. now if your adamatoise I can hold your hand and even walk you throught the process of doing this .. shoot I will even make you a HQ crafting set to help you getting start on your way to DoL DoH

I made about 50k in 2 hours tuesday night just listening to podcasts and running lvl 45 leves. I ended up with 30k from the leves (only had to repair gear twice for about 2-3k) and then made another 20k selling all the HQ wolf fangs and equipment.

I was doing it pretty casually on my whm and levelling up my chocobo at the same time, so i'd imagine you could make a lot more.

Noob question, but are you talking about gathering/crafting leves or battle leves? Thought you were talking about gather/craft leves but you mention you were leveling chocobo too so now im confused what leves you are doing @_@ i'd surely like to be able to make gil and level chocobo at the same time xD

Onyxys mind if I rephrase the question, since for some reason all the responders are missing it?

What's the best way for a now level 50 player (having almost no quests left) earn money other than obtaining it from other players?

Why does one really even need gil in this game to progress in end-game?

Since the OP doesn't want to level another class, why would he/she need to keep making gil every day? One reason I can think of is if that person is wanting to sell gil to people who don't know that you really don't need gil in this game to progress in end-game.

If you're just needing gil for repairs and teleports then the gil you make from farming materials or by using a gathering class is enough to sustain your battle habits.

The tomes in this game is the real currency you need. Gil is the placebo to make you think you have currency that matters when you don't have tomes.

To be honest, I have a bunch of gil and find it to be useless unless I'm leveling up one of the other crafting classes I have not hit maxed on.

I just want to collect gils, but I dont want to use crafting or collecting. Can SOMEONE show me the ways how can I earn gils or there is no such ways in the game? If not- economics is doomed. (Im not a gold seller)
