running out of quests

...so does this mean after getting my main class to 50, all I'll have to level my other classes are LEVES and FATES (not to mention some quests I may have missed with some dungeons here and there)???

Are the area quests not repeatable on other classes? Because if this is the case, I'm in serious doubt I'm going to level another class very high as I do not like 'chasing' FATES and the repetiton of LEVES is extremely dull and actually limited due to 3 per 12 hours.

Also, as I get higher (40/45+) in levels, will I run into the same issues, even on my first class (main) to 50?

Or am I missing something here?

you can't run out of quest
at level 21, you can get side quests from both east and south gridania
those quests alone can get you to 25 or maybe 27, that if you're doing dungeons and Fates in between
those are only in gridania, you can get more quests in other regions such as la noscea and thanalan
you can't run out of quest, at least until 40

side quests are not repeatable on other classes
however, you'll get bonus exp from Fates and leves on your 2nd class and after
so Fates are the way SE designed it

I'm not referring to just getting one class to 50, but once I have my main at 50 and done all my main quests and those in surrounding area...what about getting my other classes to 50? Say I have 2 classes at 50 how many quests will be available for me...what about my third class, and fourth and so on?

it depends on how many quests you have left with your main class
if you did every single side quests with your main class, you'll end up with no quest at all for your second class
except those class specific quests which you can get every 5 level

my 2nd class has barely hit 20 yet so i can't say much

SE has cleverly made it so your quests start taking you around the world. Each time you have a quest in a different city state, clear out every quest in the zone it takes you to. Its designed to have you clear everything out. I had no problem getting through my 20‘s. You don't hit your quest wall until your late 30‘s, early 40's. Even so, Fates and dungeon finder are always viable options.

OK, fairly new player (archer) here, home land Gridania. I am currently level 21 but I find myself having run out of quests in Gridania and surrounding shroud's. None of the NPC's have quests for me any more except the Leves.. I went into every area, even the high level ones but can't find a single exclamation mark.
Am I missing something? Do I have to go anywhere else? I did the quest to Ul'dah and Limsa.. What to do?

I have found areas have some sort of prerequisite to them. Had no quests in Quartymill until I finished my level. 25 CNJ class then there were a ton. So might have to do some of that main story. And yes I had to move around to other places for quests outside one area.

Hunting logs are big source of XPs as well - both class as well as GC ones.
