Crystal Gathering too Slow

where do all the shards go and how are they replaced when your lvl 50? Poitions and food need to be replaced and that means Shards and gathering them

:Edit we only get a limited number of leves per hour too they run out pretty fast what will you do if you run out of shards then with the current gil shortage?

What gil shortage? I made 20k Gil yesterday. (not including my 13 tun ins for average of 600 gil per turn in since I spent all I made on upgrading my crafting gear)

I do not have a level 50 character so I can't say for sure what will happen then but I imagine I will make my money the same way I am now. Gathering, selling a few things on the market here and there, dungeons, fates, guildhests, levequests, dumping stuff that doesn't sell on the market to the venders, etc.
