On a PC, I can use a controller if I want, a wireless keyboard/mouse, hook up my monitor to my tv, alt-tab and do cool things, and STILL not get performance issues![]()
This thread is a bit of a laugh.
Progression raiding will be difficult on the PS3, if only for the fact that you have to use a separate device to handle communications. It's doable, and certainly fine if you're just a listener, but I can't ever imagine a raid leader running on a PS3 unless they're mic's always on (and how annoying would that be). If you have to take your hand off a controller for push-to-talk, you can't react to what's happening on-screen. I don't care how good of a player you are, that's adding to your reaction timing. Is endgame doable in a situation like this? Sure. Will it have a high learning-curve that a lot of players will struggle with? Highly likely.
The rest of the game outside of progression raiding? Very enjoyable on a PS3. My couch is quite comfy.
No, you are, because your reason for them being excluded is dumb, it may have limitations but none of them other then during FATES in any visible way outright puts a team at a disadvantage. and i have yet to run into a single problem caused by PS3 to PC players other then "omg this games looks so much prettier" in most cases games will perform better on a PC because well, it's PC it's componets can be changed at will, unlike consoles.
You were coming off as a douch because your "the people who play with you" comment as if i am bringing my team down on a ps3 which i am most certainly not. but you seem to be having issues when trying it, which is a personal problem. That type of stuff depends on player skill. has very little to do with systems.
In other words, the egotism PC players are having towards PS3 is meaningless and outright retarded.
I healed HM Titan on my girl's account with an old 40GB PS3. Took 4 tries. Why? My fellows PC users kept getting smacked off the stage. You're just bad with a controller. Keep hating things your small mind can't comprehend.I've seen it all now that I read your post, at its finest ladies & gents. This seems to be a touchy subject for people. Let people run their FC's / Groups the way they want to. If they don't want to play with PS3 users, that's their right. I also will not party or invite knowingly a PS3 user to my FC simply because they are not playing the game to the optimal limit. In HM Titan / Bahamut's Coil we need people to have a good frame rate, good coordination and excellent execution of their abilities which I feel is hindered by controller / PS3 play. Racism only exists because people keep talking about it. Shut up and play.
*sighs*
On a PC i can subtlety post sarcastic comments console users always use as flawed arguments as to why consoles are better than PC.![]()

Well for me it's simple fear of change. I'm not saying I hate console players, just that I am seriously concerned for the future of PC's. I make a living on my PC developing .net code and working with Microsoft Sharepoint. Everything I know how to do to make ends meet is on this PC of mine. It just also happens to be how I game. The current market as of 4 years ago seem to be shifting to a future where PC's would die. Stores like best buy stopped selling Computer Cases, Trimmed down their power supply stock, etc. Walmart stopped carrying Graphics Cards... The overall consumer demand for PC's has gone down. And if it wasn't for Gaming Consoles being as powerful as they are the demand for PC's would still be high just from gamers.
I for one, am a tech guru, capable of building my own computers, building websites, developing software, I've done work in c, c++, x86 assembly, you name it. And the concept of me having to use some cloud based laptop to develop software on terrifies me. There could come a day when I need to spend 10,000$ on a powerful computer to develop with because the demand is so low. But that's only a piece of the problem. The cloud is rising, Virtualization is rising, (e.g. CloudShare), cloud based gaming is rising, tablets and cloud connected laptops will be the primary computer source for everyone 10 years from now. A future where people have a room in their house with a desk in it with a big beefy powerful desktop computer on it is disappearing.
I feel like an endangered species.

Good job picking the weakest response to criticize with your weakest possible reply.
When I see things like this I cannot help but point out its the moment someone knows they're wrong and decides to do anything they can to not accept it.
