Why are PC players being so stuck up to ps3 players?

This is false. The controller doesn't select the loot window. You have to Open it yourself by pressing the select 2 times. Nice try tho.

I'm not 'trying' anything. I have nothing against controller users or PS3 players. If you read my whole post, you'd know that. I'm just saying it like it is, for him. Perhaps it is the way he maps his abilities, or perhaps it is the fact that he is using an Xbox controller for his computer... but he encounters a LOT of errors using a controller. Sometimes the game will just decide it doesn't want to recognize his controller anymore (it will switch back to mouse+keyboard and won't work with the controller again until he goes and changes the settings manually). I'm not lying about this, nor am I 'trying' to justify keeping out controller users. Again, if you read my whole post, you'd know my LS has several PS3 and controller users and we don't discriminate. Of course, using a controller meant for the PS3 on a game specifically meant for the PS3 system is going to be less glitchy than my boyfriend's experience. I have heard from 1.0 players that even the 1.0 UI was less glitchy than the 2.0 controller-based UI for PC users. Can I say that's true? Don't know. I prefer a mouse and keyboard because that's what works for me. I'm uncomfortable with controllers.

Controllers create more mistakes, less accurate targeting and camera speed, OBVIOUS performance limitations, and if you're not near a PC to use a voice chat program you're an even bigger liability.

Sorry, but there's more than enough reasons for any min/max team to exclude console players. Or just any team that wants to guarantee victory.

Looks like people were on point with the elitism PC players displayed. as i already proved this to be false. i have yet to be inconveninced at any point and time on a ps3 vs a PC. you should probably actually learn how to play properly with a pad 1st if your ego allows it. as all of that is false.

I'll just say I'm playing on my shitty HP laptop from college instead of the Ps3 if that's the case...
They're both perform roughly the same, but one is labeled PC and it makes the PC master race happy I guess. Oh, and keyboard+mouse... cept my keyboard is missing half the buttons from being a laptop keyboard.

I played the Beta on my PS3, the performance just in FATES was abysmal, lack of quick access to hotkeyes and reaction times with the camera are always going to be an issue as you're using a gamepad on a slower performing platform.

Sorry that you're so vehemently butthurt about the truth but it doesn't change it. Just because YOU don't personally feel inconvenienced doesn't mean the rest of the people forced to party with you agree equally.

Sure, console players can clear content. But if you think they can do so more effectively, or as effectively, as pc players overall, please state that here. State that the PS3 doesn't have performance issues compared to PCs, and that communication, control, and targetting are equivalent on PS3. I'll wait.

You realize that the FATE problem is shared by both PC and pS3 problems, right? or do you not read well, in fact, ps3 pad can actually target mobs faster then a PC with the r2 pad. just because you fail at learnign how to use controller properly does not mean someone is butthurt it simply means you lack the intellect to properly learn how to use a pad correctly. truths can be proven, and your bad opinion is not truth.

I'v had no issues with any party i have been in, in fact i have been complemented many times, not knowing what system i am even on, Try again. I'm sure in your little world that may be hard to accept, but that is indeed the truth.

This is ridiculous, if you have someone who can play well on the PS3 who cares what platform it's on? If someone can figure out how to use the controller and do just as well as a mouse and keyboard more power to them. Last time I checked even people using a PC setup can mess up boss fights too. Also the people who demand perfection are just giant hypocrites, everyone messes up here and there. Ignore these pricks.

I have friends who play on the PS3 and we do all content just fine even if a majority of us are on PC.

The only time I can see people making the 'hardware' argument is if there is a situation where you can't see something you need to avoid simply because your system isn't displaying it. I've seen this issue in WoW where people with REALLY low-end computers literally CANNOT see things they need to get out of because their settings need to be incredibly low for them to be able to play the game. Clearly, we all know that the PS3 hardware is old. It came out in 2006. That's like decades ago in technology years. But will it be able to perform the functions needed to play an MMO? If SE programs it right, yes. They'll need to prioritize stuff that hurts you over pretty special effects. They do this by forcing you to use a certain resolution. As long as PS3 players can function and avoid stuff, there's no reason to think they are bad because of the system they use. I do feel bad that the PS3 UI is apparently very unpleasing to use, but that's on the user's end and not on the linkshell's end. If a person can use it fine, why discriminate? I personally have a lot of respect for people who can use controllers. I hate them. I was also very good with PC shooters but I'm an idiot when it comes to console shooters. I die really embarrassing deaths.
