Maybe you should reread your own post. I do believe you're the one complaining. Again, as most people will agree, Garuda isn't that hard. If you've failed 20 times it's probably not the other people in the group. So you complain incessantly? I see.

Did Duty Finder Garuda (story, not HM) today and killed her with just me and the WHM alive for the last 40% of the fight haha. I was helping my friend out (the WHM) and decided to punish the bad DPS by not participating in the fight. I'm sure they didn't care and were just happy to progress the story, but I find fun in a game where I can![]()
War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.

Positive attitude can only go so far though. I had the same exp as the op, got a duty finder group, I could understand failing the first 3 or 4 times but I kept a good attitude and tried over and over. When we hit try number 22 I was done and very frustrated that the 2 DPS could not stay out of the first 2 LoS AoE's. They could not remember what side of the rocks to be on. I said sorry and gave up. Re-entered the DF, got another group. This time I did 10 tries and gave up. I ended up doing it with my FC and 2 shot it, no one stood in the AoE's, our tank pulled off the LB perfectly and everyone was able to stack behind the rocks. There is a horrible proportion of really bad players, at least in my experience. And I have been coming across this over and over again in dungeons and end game story content and HM Primals. I used to like to jump in the DF to help others out. As a healer it is very easy to tell when someone is failing, and there are way more fails than wins. The DF is not worth the time you wait in it. I am usually very patient with people, but you cant help people that will not listen or just can't do it.Equally novel Response. Took me 6 tries with duty found players... You've just got bad luck, make some friends and do it that way.
Oh, the only one at fault in those parties was the healer, he lagged, got caught out.... Yet I persevered and won, without being a negative nelly-- the entire time I was supportive and said "next time!" Or "follow the archer, he's got the right idea!"
I could have much more easily dropped party and gone with my FC, it just takes a possible attitude.
I had a different experience. I was asked if I wanted to do Garuda in linkshell chat and agreed. I get in the party and one of the players in the party said he didn't want to go with people who didn't know the fight. I was able to kill Garuda in 1.0 but I didn't know the changes they made for 2.0 so I left so he wouldn't keep complaining. I was pretty miffed though and made it known. I vowed to do it with the most random Duty Finder group just to spite him. Sure enough I got my Garuda win through random duty finder. I bet the guy who didn't want to group with players who didn't know the fight still hasn't got a win.
Garuda is one of the first challenging bosses, and after you get further on, you realize how easy is actually is
Too many other games have spoiled players because how easy everything is, this game is a HUGE SUCCESS because it is still hard and you feel accomplished a little by beating things. Just wait till that feeling when you get past it, or when you get past garuda HM

Yup had the same experience myself, me and a guild tank tried to pug this and got an S keyer, the boss would disappear and he would go into a panic, his natural response was then to S key, it did not save him and ofcourse we wiped...many times until we got a guild healer to come with us...killed it first time...its a pretty basic fight, but as you say, some people still Haven't figured out they can breath through their nose so telling them you can LOS the boss instant gib attack doesn't quite help, most cant even read the chat anyway since cant find the fly to unzip the pants they're wearing on their heads.

Are you people like not reading what he's saying or something, he already said its easy... trouble is you can only carry so many people.
Yea we have developed a saying " You can't cure bad"This game has a disproportionate number of horrible players. I've gone through 5 groups where people are still being hit my the cone you LoS behind rocks after 20 attempts. There's no cure for that level of bad, please don't make me associate with these horrible players that have wasted hours of my time. This fight is so mind-numbingly simple, but there are a greater number of simple players who can't comprehend these banal mechanics. Fix it please.

I'm just going to assume you're one of the League of legends elitists. See instead of being a negative scum that you are. How about you give them advice? We wiped 6 times on Garuda before realizing what to do in the last phase. I'm sorry no one can stay back as your range class with ease and cast spells. Woopy! Instead you should work on your attitude, I'd rather play with someone who's learning that you're disgusting fat ego.![]()

This fight isn't even that difficult really just as you said, you must've had a few bad runs.
I recommend /shout 'ing in Ul'dah for some assistance.
Maybe the context of my post was a little difficult for you to understand then, but some people (maybe not the OP) actually have a hard time with stuff like this, and they feel pretty good about themselves when they get past hard stuff. Doing things like removing certain instances from the DF to me feels awfuly close for asking for a nerf just so people can get past it.
And the duty finder is amazing for casuals regardless of things being 'too hard' for the duty finder, it lets them do content almost whenever they want which is completly in line with progressing at thier own pace. The OP can just as easily find linkshell budies or ask for help in /shout (if I have time I usually always help people out if I can so long as my repair fees get covered) to group with players the same skill level as he is.
