Petition: Right-Click B-List

This is a feature that should of been implemented from day 1: right-click name or character gives an option to b-list.

A another nifty feature I've seen in other MMOs is to have names auto-removed from b-list as they are banned. This keeps the b-list from completely filling up causing the player from spending time removing hundreds of names manually.

Well, that's all well and good, and I can personally see adding "Blacklist Player" to the context menu, but having someone sent to GM Jail just because they had alot of people blacklist them is a bit severe. I mean, what if it's just a bunch of people blacklisting someone for being inappropriate in /shouts? Not everyone likes to log in to a chatlog full of slurs. Okay, yes, that person should be reprimanded for being that offensive, but GM Jail is still a bit much.

I'd just prefer the right click feature as opposed to the auto send to MG. Any action taken against a player that is automated throws a red flag with me. Large guilds could easily troll random people since blist requires no gm interaction to use.

for now you can make a macro and put it on an unused button.

/blist add <r>

this will work for the /tells but not the shouts, just make sure no one else sent you a tell in between

Jail doesn't necessarily mean a ban, it just gives the GM time to look and see if he/she /it has reports of cheating,spamming, ect

I agree with you to some extent, but this would be too much potential for greifing. I could see FC's who get annoyed with a player for no good reason having several people put someone on their blist, which could send them to automatic jail.

A third idea is auto place a player into Mordion Gaol for review by GM is he/she/it receives a certain number of b-list within a set amount of time.

SIGNED, double signed, give up firstborn for this. OK not really but this needs to happen. Did they think by stopping me from doing it, my blist wouldn't get as full, and I wouldn't be unfairly blisted names because I think their name is stupid and I don't want to play with them for that reason? Well it didn't stop me from doing that, what it is stopping me from doing is blisting gil sellers.

Unfortunately SE has already responded to this and said we are too stupid to have this function because we might accidentaly blacklist our friends. Sorry.

Maybe if we can hit 500 likes maybe they might change their minds, SE seems to respond to overwhelming player responses

There needs to be a way to right click and report for spamming. By doing so it should automatically block you from seeing anymore chat by that person but at the same time not taking up a spot in blacklist. It would also be helpful if chat didn't scroll while you're trying to scroll up and block people. It makes it 10 times harder.
