I agree this should be an option, but it's only a temporary band-aid that will only last a week or 2 until we all use up the 200 limit of the blist (I already broke 50, and that's mostly just from one major town in the last 3 days). Much much more needs to be done to prevent this spam from occurring in the first place.

They spam you 5+ lines of text making it nearly impossible for you to scroll up to their name and when you do, more spam and you go back to the bottom. I don't go to cities anymore. Not very happy

It should not take me 5 minutes to blacklist and report these asshats.

Right click > Blacklist or Blacklist & Report. This should have been available since day one.

We need this feature, dont log on for two days, enter a city, blam takes me 15 minutes to catch the names, and add them. How about at least making the chat log stay where it is when you open the social tab rather than reset to current... plus half the names they use are "dfgasdg sdfgsdg" try memorizing that in .2 seconds....50 times in a row. Or how about having GM's patrol the city shout logs...serriously little ridiculous. my 2 cents...

What about limiting the amount of shout you can do in a minute. Seems really easy to just have the game block them from spamming that way. I sure hope they are looking into this.

I add my vote for a Right click Black List option on the players name .. I would also Love a Right click Blacklist along with REPORT gold seller spam as well. ONE SHOT we got them blacklisted and Reported for gold spam. The way it is now is REDUNKULIS. FIX THIS FIRST PLEASE.

Right click > Blist, Right click > Report Spam and a flood control for shout, yell and say would help immensely! I also hate that my chat log scrolls itself every time someone adds something new to it, but if there is flood control, it would at least stop my log from going 80 miles a second while I'm trying to blist.

A helpful tip someone gave to me in the meantime is to spam right click your chat log where the names are until it clicks one of the seller's names. When the menu pops up, choose send tell. Instead of sending a tell to the jackass, you can just backspace the tell and type in blist and add, etc. So much easier than trying to scroll up and memorize oddball names before they fly past again.

I would agree, this should've been in at launch.

I expect F2P cheese to lack this since their customer support is going to be lacking but in a premium game, I expect to see this.

But then, there are a lot of quality of life things I expect in a modern MMORPG.

Item compare with stats getting compared.

Gear preview.

An inventory system that isn't total dookie.

Ability to hide quests on quest tracker.

You could go on and on but it's been done.
