    I can understand the OP's points, but remember that this game is kind of a rush due to 1.0 failure, so at this moment their best bet would be focusing on creating a standard MMORPG first, then start the process of polishing details later.

    Personally I'm not really satisfied with this yet, and sometimes even feel frustrated... but it's still too soon to give up on, and I'll definitely be staying for the next several months before considering another game.

    Fluid - FATE & Duty Finder is everything. Through claiming and instance mechanics, competition has been removed. Gone are the days of waiting for anything (unless you're a DD in Duty Finder).

    Lol less aggro types, wait until you get to the outer areas of each respective nation. All mobs in coerthas and mor dhona aggro as well. Gear slots are the same as v.1.0, as well as materia. In depth battle mechanics are there, you just haven't leveled your DoW or DoM classes adequately enough to experience them, wait until you fight Garuda, even the story mode version is quite challenging, as well as higher level dungeons such as wanderer's palace and aurum vale. Character limit on forums are irrelevant to game play mechanics not sure why this is mentioned.


    Effortless progression, not so much, the solo fights are easy, but you can still fail the duty and get creamed if you don't handle the fight well. Plus the game is designed to get you to 50 ASAP so hard primals and the coil can bash your face in.

    Waiting for NM pops is a thing of the past, if you wanna sit and wait for stuff do it for Odin and behemoth, though you have yet to level high enough to attempt these FATES, and as of right now you'd have a hell of a time getting silver on them due to all the people.

    Hardcore, it isn't hard to say how difficult it will get, you just haven't leveled high enough to do the hard stuff, it is difficult and challenging, see, easy to say.

    Don't be setting false expectations. There is nothing hard about any of the dungeons / bosses you mentioned. The first even remote PvE challenge you're going to have in this game is AK if you do it as a fresh 50 in AF gear. Even then, wasn't that hard for my static. Died a few times on demonwall until people stopped getting knocked off then ez.

    Ifrits yawn, garuda a bit better... Finally gets hard at Titan.

    Though none of that is what bothers me about this game. What really irks me is the fact there is zero outdoor content for a 50, I have to wait 30+ mins in DF WITH A FULL PARTY.... And outside of leveling alts there really isn't a whole lot to do yet as a 50. Mind you its a fresh MMO and this is expected... I just hope they arn't going entirely themepark style with EVERYTHING from here on being instanced queue crap. Bring the immersive back please, if I wanted to play WoW, I'd reinstall it.

    It's hard to give a balanced expectation, because for a lot of people those things are going to seem hard, but I see your point perfectly. It really is all just a cakewalk for a coordinated group of people.

    I like progression vs time, it means I can do things in life and still keep up with the majority. I can come home at 5, cook / clean and at 8 play for two hours and get what I want to in.

    I am brand new to this environment kind of fighting. In 11 there wasn't much to it, and in 1.0 it was sort of introduced. But having a tougher boss in general I think pushes for a player to have certain gear to perform well rather than a player who is skilled and knows the environment hazards to avoid, which to me is more important shows a player knows his / her role rather than played for two days straight.

    Only thing I'm not big on is the gear progression, and that's because I miss the "Enhances" to special items, but I understand it can create a single piece to be a staple, But I understand spell speed replaces a lot of "Reduces x recast" and traits replace "Enhances" So i guess it's just a matter of looking at the right perspective.

    I look forward to the way things continue to go!

    Having potentially two bracelets, two earrings, and four rings for each class was a gear management nightmare, and "Heavy Resistance +1" materia and its ilk were completely useless.

    Lol. I'm sorry, but this isn't true at all. The game is much different at 50. The opinions of your low level have absolutely no relation to later game content

    Less gear slots, do you mean the accessory slots?
    This is a 1 year old story.
    Sure, we have now less accessory slots. but we can also wear more accessories at the same time now.

    It's a cakewalk for anyone that has raided* before, not just coordinated static groups. I've only done up until AK/Ifrit, but I've seen the Garuda fight, the mechanics aren't difficult, it's just getting people to execute. Titan / CoB might be different, I don't know, but I'm hoping that there will be some challenge waiting once I get there.

    *I don't mean LFR on WoW either.
