    I think this is how they intended, since they fixed they part where you can control your pets while in GCD, but not casting... I guess their original intention is to let players think before every skill they cast?

    Tho it's really unfair for pet users, cause no other classes have a whole additional skill bar & a pet position to worry about, not to mention those pets are still buggy & not exactly responsive. The devs need to seriously reconsider this one.

    And also not really essential, but I need to be able to control pets while mounting as well, or at least force them to follow, cause if I run by a random mob & it targets me, the pet will stay back & fight it, then disappear after the player run too far away...

    For endgame dungeons I only tried tanking with titan at the last boss in WP, while the tank focus on dps & help with adds since we had no other range, worked pretty well I must say xD

    eh, was just saying that even if we were given full micro control of our pets, that kind of thing would still be a handicap.
    personally, i'd rather a customisable ffxii-esque gambit system plus movements.

    iirc, you'd just have to tell it on steady before mounting.
