    Yet with SO MANY new players gil running out won't be an issue for ages, so all people are whining about is not being able to get rich without crafting.

    Creating gil isn't, and won't be, an issue for quite a while, given the number of new players who most of them, probably won't then drain gil via endgame as not THAT many people are hardcore raiders.
