Anyone else feel like this year's moonfire faire was a waste?

I didn't know anything about it but I did do that costa fate....thought it was just another fate lol.

So i had many stacks of ash before this "event". I got all the beach gear i'll ever need and now what? Surely i missed something and we're supposed to use these items for something right?

On another note, is the armoury event item cap 20 slots? I can't seem to deposit more pieces.

I know, I had enough ash to buy one of every piece of swimgear my character can wear. Its now sitting in my armoire. Is there anything else to do, except kill bombs for ash to buy clothes?

I found it pointless. I acquired some stuff I'll never wear. Is pretty much useless and discarded it when I found out it couldn't be stored in the chest in the inn. It was very lack-luster. Requiring no time or thought. Except for where to buy stuff or participate in FATE for the event because the NPC told you only about Costa. Over all, a waste of space and time. Bring on the patch.

Never was there a summer event that gave you swimsuit and yukata.

It would be better if the Event FATE is not a killing FATE, but a /emote FATE like the last 2 summer events. It's funnier to kill bombards with emotes.

They said that for ARR the first year would be redoing the swimsuits, 2nd year would be redoing yukatas.

Just curious will there be more added to the event or is it just ``get a swimsuit`` and instantly get the achievement + title in under 5 minutes (because I had already recieved the currency from questing before the event) ?

I dunno I guess I kinda like events from other mmo`s that make you work towards something or have multiple facets that take a decent amount of time to accomplish and that you can do with friends. Are the other events in this game going to have more substance? Like special dungeons, items to grind for (ie pets + mounts), quests, achievements, etc?

Some other people stated they had no problems either. I don't know why but none of my unique gear shows up as an option to place in the chest for me.

I was sad that the music and the firedance didnt make a return
I loved running around in town with fireworks in the sky and doing the dance. haha
