Anyone else feel like this year's moonfire faire was a waste?

I mean the fate to do the event was already out since launch so the event was really to just redeem your swim suits.

And it felt different from the previous events. Before you go particpate at any level because you would just perform "/firedance" and beat the enemies.

Also I thought the purpose of the event was have fun with a little mini game for a while to collect all of the event gear, but I felt the respawn rate was a bit too low. I don't think seasonal fates should run in the same order as regular FATES. I mean seasonal fates should be in an area where fates usually do not occur and not be dependent on what number of fates are currently active.

It should stand alone and play over and over again. So people don't have to wait if there only intention is to get the event gear. They could even reduce the number of bombard ash to 10 for gold and 7 for silver and 5 for green like they usually did...

this years event was a FATE so you needed to be 27 to even participate I don't think that was fair for the new players. They should have made it a level 1 fate, or a fate that wasn't dependent on your level.

There's a FATE just south of bentbranch that's level 10....

There may be one in all major zones, actually. There are level 5 ones, and level 10 ones.. probably 15 and 20 as well. They added them all over, it's not just the old one that always was there, that one isn't related to the event and is more of an easter egg FATE that drops the ash all year round.
